The world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers a plethora of unique experiences despite using the same map as Breath of the Wild. This is achieved through the addition of new areas such as caves, the Depths, and the Sky Islands, which transform the landscape of Hyrule and create entirely new worlds to explore. One of the Shrine Quests that takes advantage of these new worlds is the Lake Hylia Crystal Shrine Quest, which ultimately leads the player to En-Oma Shrine. Here's how to complete the quest and earn a Light of Blessing as a reward.
Where to Find En-Oma Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom:
En-Oma Shrine is not your typical shrine to find. It's situated in a cave that can only be accessed via a whirlpool located in Lake Hylia. The exact coordinates are 0104, -2517, -0087. The easiest way to reach it is by paragliding from Popla Foothills Skyview Tower towards Lake Hylia and then dropping Link into the whirlpool that leads to the secret Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave.
One important thing to keep in mind is that there's a Bubbul in Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave. Players should make sure to grab a Bubbul Gem while they're there.
En-Oma Shrine Walkthrough
Once you have found En-Oma Shrine, you are already halfway there. This particular shrine requires you to find a crystal and return it to the shrine to receive the Light of Blessing, as it is a Rauru's Blessing Shrine. To activate the shrine and begin the Shrine Quest, stand between the two pillars in Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave.
To locate the crystal, follow the beam of light that emanates from the shrine. It will lead you to the crystal's location.
When players see the green beam shooting upwards into the sky, they can deduce that the crystal is located on one of the sky islands. To locate it precisely, they can mark the area where the shrine is on the surface with a pin, and then navigate to the sky map. The pin will be visible on the map, albeit slightly dimmed.
To reach the sky island, players can use various means such as flying mounts or airships.
There are two ways for players to reach the island where the crystal is located. The first option is to utilize fast travel to the Great Sky Island Shrine Nachnoyah Shrine and then paraglide or use a fan plane from the southernmost point of the island. Simply moving towards the pin or the green light, albeit less bright, will lead players to their destination in no time.
Alternatively, players can paraglide from the top of Popla Foothills Skyview Tower towards the same pin. This option also provides convenient access to the island.
Inside the temple at the center of the island in the Faron Sky Archipelago lies the crystal. It's a straightforward task - simply toss the crystal through the hole in the temple and dive into the whirlpool behind it. Don't forget to collect the Sundelions scattered around the island, they're definitely worth it.
The coveted crystal has found its way to the Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave where the shrine is located. The task at hand is to transport it to the shrine. Once accomplished, witness the shrine's growth and reap the rewards that come with it.
The En-Oma Shrine hosts a Treasure Chest that is conveniently located right in front of the player upon entering. As it is the journey with the crystal that is the main focus of these shrines, players will be rewarded with a Mighty Zonaite Sword upon opening the chest. This sword can be combined with any Zonaite Device for a slight increase in attack power.
