Chrishell Stause unintentionally misled her fans into believing she was pregnant with her first child. The 42-year-old Selling Sunset celebrity recently posted throwback pictures from Lifetime's You're Not Supposed to Be Here on Instagram. In the film, Stause portrays a pregnant woman and had to wear a fake baby bump for the role.

"Now streaming on @lifetimetv app, Hulu, Sling & Philo depending on your service provider! Thank you to everyone who watched 'You’re Not Supposed To Be Here'. Despite not being able to promote it due to the strike, it still did well. Your support means a lot to me!" Stause captioned her social media post. In response, her followers quickly took to the comments section to congratulate her, unaware that she wasn't actually pregnant.

“Congratulations! You're going to be a mom!!!” one social media user exclaimed, while another person joyfully added, “Oh my goodness!!!!! I am so incredibly happy for you!!! I can't believe you guys did it! So thrilled and proud!!!!!!”

Francesca Farago, a star on Netflix, was momentarily tricked and expressed her frustration with the comment "The way I SCREAMED!! Don’t tease me like that." Stause has openly discussed her desire to become a mother over the years, and her wish to have a child was even a factor in her breakup with Jason Oppenheim.

In her public statement, Stause revealed that their "amazing relationship" ended due to their differing views on starting a family.

"I've made a conscious effort to be transparent about my relationships and the world I find myself in. It was daunting to acknowledge that it may not meet society's standards of success or my personal aspirations. However, after numerous heartfelt conversations, I've chosen to view it as a success regardless of public perception," she said. "Jason is and will always be my closest friend, and despite our differing family plans, the love and respect we have for each other will remain unchanged."

Stause concluded by pointing out that "men have the luxury of time that women don't." The real estate agent, who was previously married to Justin Hartley, ultimately found love with partner G Flip. Following a whirlwind romance, the duo tied the knot in May after one year of dating.

That same month, Stause discussed her and G Flip’s plans to expand their family.

"I understand that you weren't initially open to adoption, which is completely understandable. But for someone in my situation, that can put a lot of pressure on me," Stause explained to Oppenheim during a season 6 episode of Selling Sunset. "Now with G, I feel like that pressure is lifted. When we decide it's time, we're open to adoption."
