Chrishell Stause had a few choice words for costar Nicole Young on Selling Sunset season 7 that left Us reeling.

Newly released episodes started streaming on Netflix on Friday, November 3rd, featuring an intense encounter between Chrishell and Nicole at Chelsea Lazkani's birthday party. In a show of support, Chrishell stepped in to defend her friend and colleague Emma Hernan who bravely confronted Nicole for labeling her as a "social climber."

Unswayed by Chrishell's defense, Nicole maintained her stance due to the turbulent past she shared with both Chrishell and Emma.

"So I'm just expected to accept everything these two have said about me? They have uttered dreadful things about me," she confronted the duo. "They have only said untrue, dreadful things about me."

Chrishell showed no concern for Nicole's criticism and confidently asserted, "Furthermore, I will persist in affirming that everything I say about you is true."

As tensions rose, Chrishell boldly stood up for her achievements, both within and outside the Oppenheim Group office. "I earn more in five minutes than you could in five years," she confidently asserted. "You've completely altered your appearance. You've had every possible thing done."

When Nicole labeled her colleagues as "horribly mean girls," Chrishell couldn't understand why she wasn't given the chance to defend herself. "Look, if you can dish it out, then expect us to dish it back," she emphasized during the premiere of season 7.

During the premiere of season 6 in May, Chrishell and Nicole found themselves in a conflict, initially arguing about their qualifications. Nicole accused Chrishell of only receiving real estate listings because their boss Jason Oppenheim had a crush on her. This accusation prompted Chrishell to respond.

She explained, "A few years ago, Jason included both Nicole and me in a listing. However, Nicole didn't believe that I deserved any recognition when the house sold because I was a relatively new agent. She believed that she had done more work than me." Chrishell went on to mention that she had indeed shown the house to multiple buyers and hosted open houses.

Chrishell, who had been in a relationship with Jason for several months in 2021 after her divorce from Justin Hartley, surprised viewers when she tried to gain an advantage in the conflict by accusing Nicole of being on drugs during a group dinner (which Nicole denied).

Prior to the airing of season 6, Chrishell took to social media and seemingly questioned Nicole's motives, stating, "The desperation to be on camera in season 6 is evident. It was truly crazy. However, it was also very obvious. Go ahead and get your 15 minutes, girl, but please refrain from involving my personal affairs."

She stated, "Screenshots of this moment have been saved. It's interesting how you suddenly have a problem with me now, but not before when the camera crew was not present. I despise hypocrisy. If you wanted camera time, just be honest about it. I would have gladly assisted you in finding the perfect angle. But don't attempt to attack the people I care about or my business, especially when I supported you and was genuinely excited for your success." Despite the deterioration of their relationship in season 7, Chrishell made an effort to maintain a mature standpoint.

“I hope we can move past the drama. It was unpleasant and distasteful. It no longer matters who is right because both of us will suffer in this situation. We stand to lose in our professional and personal relationships. And I don't want to be a part of that," she said to Nicole, with Jason present. "So, I want to apologize because I know I became very upset and sensitive about certain things."

Chrishell was ready to accept responsibility, stating, "Irrespective of your actions or words, I just want to acknowledge my contribution to that night. I apologize for stooping to a low level."

Nicole, on the other hand, was not yet prepared to acknowledge any errors. "I appreciate your understanding. It would be a vast improvement for everyone in every aspect if we could indefinitely avoid such situations," she stated, firmly sticking to her decision to not apologize.

In a subsequent part of the season, Nicole elaborated on her reluctance to offer apologies.

“She apologized, but her apology was very vague. I'm not sure if it was the right move or if I missed an opportunity to mend things and move on," she confessed to Mary Fitzgerald. "Honestly, I should have addressed it head-on and moved forward. But I'm hopeful that we will have another chance to talk so that I can apologize properly."

Unfortunately, they never had another opportunity to address their issues. Instead, a trip to Cabo only widened the divide between them. The argument stemmed from a disagreement about whether Nicole was initially invited to join Chrishell’s friend group on Emma's private jet. As a result, Chrishell and Nicole kept their distance from each other for the remainder of the season.
