Chase Stokes Doesnt Think He Oversharing Kelsea Ballerini Relationship

Chase Stokes, the actor from Outer Banks, recently addressed the perception that he shares too much about his relationship with country singer Kelsea Ballerini.

In an interview with E! News on Wednesday, March 20, Stokes acknowledged that some may think he is oversharing or revealing too many details. However, he emphasized that he values his privacy and believes his personal life should remain private.

Stokes, who is 31 years old, enjoys sharing bits of his personal life on social media. However, he wants to make it clear that what he shares are only small glimpses.

He mentioned, "I still believe that I am in control of my privacy."

Stokes, known for his role as John B. Routledge on the Netflix drama, has been in a relationship with Ballerini since January 2023. They frequently post photos together on Instagram and are often seen showing affection in public at events or on casual dates.

Like many celebrity couples, they face challenges balancing their relationship with their hectic schedules. Stokes revealed that they rely on technology to stay connected despite the distance between them.

Stokes explained that they have enjoyed FaceTime date nights, where they choose a cuisine and decide on what to drink, whether red wine, white wine, or water. They have found creative ways to make their long-distance relationship work.

It is quite fitting for a couple who first connected when Ballerini messaged Stokes on social media. Their relationship started when Ballerini reached out to Stokes after her divorce from Morgan Evans in November 2022. After following each other on Instagram, she sent him a simple message saying, "Hi, Chase Stokes," and their relationship blossomed from there.

Fortunately, the schedules of the two have aligned well, as Stokes is filming Outer Banks while Ballerini is busiest.

"We've been lucky that our busy seasons haven't overlapped recently," Stokes mentioned. "Either she's here or I go to Nashville, which has been great. As our relationship grows, we make sure our schedules work together and we have time for each other in the future."

Stokes is currently filming season four of Outer Banks alongside costars Austin North, Rudy Pankow, Jonathan Daviss, Drew Starkey, Madison Bailey and his ex-girlfriend, Madelyn Cline.
