Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos experienced a honeymoon meltdown while on vacation. On a recent episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, the couple shared a story about witnessing a famous person having a tantrum at hotel staff.

Mark and I were staying at a hotel with our kids. I won't say the name, but there was a famous person here who was on their honeymoon. This person requested to speak to the manager.

"She was really upset," added Consuelos.

Ripa shared that someone complained about their room not meeting standards, even though the rooms were beautiful. This person claimed it ruined their entire honeymoon, making Ripa question if she would enjoy being married.

Consuelos joked that the groom wouldn't enjoy being married either, as it seemed like a rough situation.

It seems like Ripa and Consuelos have been doing well in their marriage, unlike the mystery couple who are facing some challenges on their honeymoon.

Recently, Ripa and Consuelos celebrated almost 28 years of marriage by recreating a photo from their Las Vegas wedding in May 1996.

Ripa shared a post on Instagram on Wednesday, February 28, titled "Viva Las Vegas Then️ Now." The post included a throwback photo of the couple standing close together on their special day, as well as a current picture of them recreating the same pose at the chapel where they got married.

During a segment of Live With Kelly and Mark in February, Consuelos confessed to his wife that he felt nostalgic as they drove to the chapel where they exchanged vows in April 2023. He mentioned feeling sweaty as some of those emotions from their wedding day came rushing back.

He added, "We were 25-year-olds. Our son Michael is 26 now. It just doesn't add up. In a city where people take risks every day, this is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made."

Ripa, who has a daughter Lola, 22, and son Joaquin, 21, with Consuelos, had shared before about their decision to keep their marriage a secret from their All My Children coworkers.

Ripa mentioned on a daytime show in February that they worked together and didn't want others to think they couldn't. They were able to keep their relationship a secret for months, with nobody at All My Children knowing they were dating, let alone married.

While their marriage had a secretive start, Ripa and Consuelos now openly express their love for each other. In September 2023, they flirted on air while discussing the reality series Naked Attraction, where contestants judge potential partners based on their naked bodies.

Ripa wondered if the exercise would have been effective for her and Consuelos. She asked him if he would have loved "even the parts" of her body that "aren't really obvious," pointing to her breasts.

"They were pretty obvious," Consuelos playfully responded.

"You know what? I might not have noticed anything beyond the feet. Your feet could have been a deal-breaker," she chuckled. "I would have missed out on all your other amazing qualities just because of the feet."
