Carnie Wilson recently shared with Us that she is still singing Beach Boys songs with her father, Brian Wilson, even as he battles dementia.

During the Easter holiday, Carnie, 55, spent time with her father, 81, and her 18-year-old daughter. They sang some Beach Boys songs for him, and he was impressed. Brian praised his granddaughter, Lola, saying she has a beautiful voice and is carrying on the family tradition by pursuing singing, which is her passion.

Brian's wife, Melinda Wilson, passed away in January at the age of 77. Following this, the family has requested a conservatorship for Brian. Representatives LeeAnn Hard and Jean Sievers have been appointed as co-conservators to ensure that there are no significant changes to Brian, his household, or his family, as stated in the filing.

Carnie, Brian's daughter, mentioned that her father is being well taken care of. Despite the loss of his wife, Brian is surrounded by his family, including his children. He recently attended a Laker game and plans to watch the Dodgers play. And occasionally, we'll sing 'Be My Baby,' his all-time favorite song by the 'Ronettes,'" she shared. "I like singing his songs to him because I know they hold a special meaning for him."

Carnie Wilson, known for her 35 years in the music industry and as a member of Wilson Phillips, is a product of her upbringing. She will be hosting a new show called Sounds Delicious with Carnie Wilson, where she will cook her favorite dishes with other celebrities.

According to Carnie, music runs in her family's blood. She also credits her maternal grandmother as a great cook, which is where her love for food originates from.

"I always ask for her presence while I cook. It feels like she's right there with me in the kitchen."
