A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan drew digital sketches of the four Legendary Pokemon of the Teal Mask DLC as humans, receiving praise for their appropriate attire.

The DLC's Kitakami region draws inspiration from both previous Pokemon regions and the folktale of Momotaro, serving as a creative source for the fan artist. The artist's sketches portray human versions of the legendary Pokemon, featuring distinct traits and attire that align with their respective in-game masks.

A fan of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet created thematic digital sketches portraying the four legendary Pokemon of the Teal Mask DLC as humans. They shared their artwork on social media for other fans to admire. The artist received praise from fellow Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players, particularly for the suitable attire they designed.

In The Teal Mask, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers embarked on a field trip to the Kitakami region, situated east of Paldea. Fans immediately noticed the resemblance to previous Pokemon regions like Johto and Sinnoh, and also observed the influence of the real-world folktale of Momotaro in the story of Ogerpon and the Loyal Three. While the concept of rendering Pokemon as "gijinka" is not new, as evident from existing fan art depicting Magby as a human, the bipedal nature of the four Legendary Pokemon in Kitakami made the task more manageable. Consequently, one artist drew inspiration from Japanese culture for their artwork.

A fan on the r/pokemon subreddit, jimbojims0, shared their artistic interpretation of Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and all four versions of Ogerpon as gijinka-style humans. Starting with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Loyal Three, Okidogi was depicted as a rough and muscular man wearing a low-cut top, showing off chest hair. He wore green samurai leg armor and gauntlets with claws. Munkidori had the Toxic Chain wrapped around their back, ankles, and head, while maintaining a slim figure. Fezandipiti resembled a geisha, with feathers embellishing a long robe and a hair beret. The Toxic Chain covered the front of their body. Ogerpon, the Mask Pokemon, was portrayed with different-colored outfits to match the masks she wears. In each outfit, she had long green hair, golden eyes, and horns. She held a mask in her left hand and her signature Ivy Cudgel in her right hand. When holding the Teal Mask, her outfit and cudgel remained green. When holding the Hearthflame, Wellspring, and Cornerstone masks respectively, Ogerpon's outfit and cudgel changed colors to match each mask, as seen in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The OP garnered praise from fellow Pokemon enthusiasts for their gijinka portrayal of the Kitakami quartet. As anticipation builds for the upcoming Indigo Disk DLC, it is intriguing to ponder the gijinka fan art creations that Pokemon trainers will produce next.
