Kylie Jenner has always been unafraid of controversy, never shying away from a public dispute, especially when it involves her former friends.
In February 2019, Jenner experienced a significant rift with her former best friend, Jordyn Woods, after the model admitted to kissing Tristan Thompson at a party while he was still in a relationship with Khloé Kardashian.
The scandal led to Kardashian and Thompson breaking up. They have two children together, daughter True and son Tatum. At that time, it seemed like Woods' relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family was beyond repair.
During a June 2019 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jenner opened up to Kardashian about the situation with Jordyn. She expressed that she believed the whole Jordyn situation needed to happen, for her, for Jordyn, for everyone involved. Jenner explained that Jordyn had been her security blanket, always by her side, and she had believed she didn't need anything else. However, Jenner realized that she needed to grow without Jordyn and that sometimes people are meant to be in your life for certain reasons and times, but not others.
Four years later, Woods and Jenner were seen dining together. After their July 2023 encounter, an exclusive source disclosed to Us that Woods and Jenner's friendship is still developing.

Kylie Jenner’s Feuds Through the Years: Jordyn Woods, Blac Chyna and More
Kylie Jenner isn't a stranger to controversy — and she's never backed down from a public feud, even when it involves her former friends.
In February 2019, Jenner experienced a significant rift with her former best friend Jordyn Woods. This occurred following Woods' admission that she had kissed Tristan Thompson at a party, despite him being in a relationship with Khloé Kardashian.
As a consequence of the scandal, Kardashian ended her relationship with Thompson, with whom she has a daughter named True and a son named Tatum. During that time, it appeared that Woods' connection with the Kardashian-Jenner family was irreparably damaged.
Jenner reflected on the Jordyn situation, acknowledging that it was necessary for personal growth. She expressed how much Jordyn meant to her, serving as a constant presence in her life. However, Jenner realized that she needed to evolve independently and that people come into our lives for specific reasons and durations.
Surprisingly, four years later, Woods and Jenner were seen dining together. An exclusive source revealed that their friendship is currently being mended and is a work in progress.

Jenner and Woods became inseparable after meeting in 2012 and even lived together for a while. However, their friendship suffered a setback when Woods admitted to kissing Thompson at a party in February 2019. Jenner claimed that Woods initially lied about the incident but eventually confessed when confronted. In an episode of KUWTK, Jenner recalled how Woods cried throughout the conversation and expressed her fear of her friend's actions, saying, "I’m like scared of you now. Like, you’re capable of waking up the next morning with a smile on your face."
In September 2020, Woods revealed the emotional toll the cheating scandal had on her. She admitted feeling alone and sitting in a dark place, despite having her family and Jenner to talk to. Woods described the experience of having everything she knew and trusted taken away from her, leaving her unsure of how to even process her emotions.
Woods expressed her dissatisfaction with the fact that people were hurt and had to endure the difficult situation they were in. The impact was not limited to her own family and friends, but extended to others as well. Woods clarified that she had never harbored any negative intentions towards anyone she cared about.
In July 2023, Woods and Jenner were seen together in Los Angeles, marking their first public appearance in four years. According to an exclusive source, it was Jenner who initiated contact with Woods. Jenner sought the approval of her sister before reestablishing a connection with Woods, as they both missed each other and felt that enough time had passed to reconcile.

Blac Chyna
The former star of Rob & Chyna has a lengthy history of tension with various members of the Kardashian-Jenner family. Just a year after her split from rapper Tyga in 2014, with whom she shares a son named King born in 2012, she began dating Jenner in 2015. (Their relationship eventually ended in 2017.) In the meantime, Chyna started dating Jenner's older brother, Rob Kardashian, and they announced their engagement and pregnancy in May 2016. Their daughter, Dream, was born in November of the same year. Following a turbulent romance, Rob and Chyna broke up in early 2017, resulting in an indefinite hold on the second season of their reality show named after them.
In late 2017, the Washington D.C. native sued the famous family, accusing Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie of defaming her and causing permanent damage to her reputation, thereby interfering with the future of the show. During the April 2022 trial, Kylie testified that she had received threatening text messages from Chyna during her relationship with Tyga. Kylie also mentioned that Tyga had shown her a nine-inch scar that he allegedly got from a fight with Chyna, who is the founder of Lashed Cosmetics. Additionally, Kylie revealed that she had expressed her concerns about Chyna to Rob while they were in a relationship, but ultimately Rob had the final say.
Chyna, during her testimony, was asked if she held any grudge against Kylie for dating Tyga. At the time, she denied having any ill will towards the ladies, including Kylie. Chyna explained that while she was with Rob, he wanted them to live together, so she eventually let her guard down and moved into Kylie's house with Rob in order to be a family.

Tammy Hembrow
After collaborating with Khloé on several Good American campaigns in 2018, Hebrew developed a close bond with the rest of the family, even attending Kylie's 21st birthday celebration in August of that year. In October 2019, fans began speculating that the fitness influencer had started dating Tyga, Kylie's ex-boyfriend, after he mentioned her in a verse on Ambjaay's "Uno." Hembrow addressed the rumors during a December 2019 episode of her podcast, "Hanging With The Hembrows," stating that they were blown out of proportion and nonsensical. In the midst of the controversy, Kylie unfollowed the Australian native on social media.
In March 2022, just one month after giving birth to a baby boy, Kylie made an announcement that she and her boyfriend Travis Scott were changing their son's name from Wolf to something that better suited his personality. Some fans speculated that this decision was influenced by the fact that Hembrow also had a child named Wolf. In response to the news, the fitness guru, who was pregnant with her third child at the time, seemingly made a subtle jab at the reality TV star on TikTok, telling a fan that she currently favored the name Stormi for her own baby girl. Hembrow ultimately chose the name Posy for her daughter.

Kevin James Bennett
Kylie documented her trip to the Kylie Cosmetics production center in Milan in August 2022, where she was busy concocting new delights for her devoted fans. In her social media post, she playfully declared, "I'm in the lab creating new magic for you guys." While sporting a crisp white lab coat, it is worth noting that she appeared without a hair net or gloves. This seemingly harmless detail prompted Bennett to interject on Instagram, emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety guidelines.
As a cosmetic developer, I collaborate with cosmetic manufacturers and their labs in my line of work. Despite having short hair, I have always been required to wear a hair net, shoe covers, mask, and disposable gloves when entering the lab or manufacturing floor. In a social media post, a makeup artist accused Kylie of deceiving her followers by giving the impression that she creates cosmetics. The artist questioned the choice of an uninformed Italian manufacturer who allowed the photo opportunity to take place in their lab without adhering to proper sanitation protocols. Determined to protect my clients, I sought the manufacturer's name. Kylie defended herself by claiming that the photo was taken in a private space dedicated to creating content for social media. She strongly emphasized that she, as well as other celebrities and beauty brand owners, would never overlook sanitary measures. Kylie denounced the spread of false information and assured that customers' safety is never compromised. However, Bennett, the makeup artist, responded by questioning Kylie about her time spent at the facility and accusing her of lying to him and her followers.
“Were you there Kevin ?" the former E! personality clapped back, before joking that she would have to "change" the name of one of her five greyhounds.

Vlada Haggerty
When Kylie launched her makeup line in 2014, she chose a dripping lip motif as the company's signature look. However, she faced criticism from social media users who believed she had copied the design from makeup artist Vlada Haggerty, known for her intricate lip art. Two years later, Kylie was again accused of imitating Haggerty for her 2016 holiday campaign, where gold-painted fingers covered the model's eyes, drawing attention to the central red lip.
Haggerty expressed her frustration on Instagram, saying, "Really @kyliecosmetics? Haven't you taken enough 'inspiration' from me already?" She then posted a side-by-side comparison of the photos, showcasing her prior work and Kylie Cosmetics' new campaign. Although Kylie Cosmetics eventually credited Haggerty, she threatened to sue them for copyright infringement. The issue was resolved in January 2017, with Kylie sharing one of Haggerty's posts on her own page. Haggerty expressed gratitude to all the supporters, saying, "We are very happy to share that the issue has been resolved. Thanks so much to every single one of you creative souls who supported us, we truly appreciate you."

The initial release of Kylie Cosmetics' lip gloss faced customer complaints due to frayed, split, and defective brushes. While the company acknowledged the issue and pledged to resolve it, a prominent YouTube personality criticized the "unacceptable" situation on social media in now-deleted posts. Two months later, the individual accused Kylie of overcharging for her lip kits and claimed that a lab named ColourPop produced the same $5 formula, with Kylie charging an extra $20. Additionally, the critic emphasized that if the product was of better quality, they would have no criticism.
Star continuously criticized Kylie and her makeup line, denouncing the release of a $60 brush kit by Kylie Cosmetics in December 2017 and later expressing his disappointment in the products in July 2018. In a YouTube video at the time, he stated, "I believe that there are too many [Kylie Cosmetics] products being produced, resulting in a lack of excitement. The brand has become dull, and I've grown tired of it for now."
However, in March 2019, Star stirred controversy on Twitter by claiming that Jenner, recently dubbed the "youngest self-made billionaire" by Forbes, only received recognition from the magazine because he declined their offer. This tweet has since been deleted.
