Bruce Springsteen, a highly acclaimed rock musician of our time, is famous for songs such as “Born in the U.S.A.,” “Streets of Philadelphia,” and “Born to Run.”
Recently, he started a big tour in February, marking his first tour in the US since 2016. Unfortunately, the tour has been facing challenges due to his ongoing health issues, including a painful stomach peptic ulcer he experienced in October, which he described as a “b**** of a bellyache.”
Back then, he mentioned how the belly issue had been a real struggle for him, even though he tried to make light of it by laughing.
Unfortunately, he had to cancel two US shows in March and August due to other health problems he was facing.
Springsteen was recently recognized at the Ivor Novello Awards in London. During the ceremony, he received a standing ovation and was jokingly teased by former Beatle Paul McCartney.
Despite his hoarse voice, Springsteen graciously accepted the honor. He humorously blamed his raspy vocals on singing in the classic British rain the night before.
“I’m gonna sound really weird up here because I sang in the rain all night last night,” he said in a speech.
