Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, is full of surprising revelations about herself, her family and countless celebrities.

Before the release of the book in October 2023, Spears took to Instagram to clarify that the memoir was not intended to offend anyone. She emphasized that the person she was at that time is now in the past.

The memoir reveals some of the shocking revelations about Spears' romantic relationships. Along with confessing to cheating on her ex Justin Timberlake with Wade Robson, she also alleged that Timberlake had cheated on her multiple times during their relationship.

Below, you can find a list of all the celebrities mentioned in The Woman In Me:

Justin Timberlake

Timberlake features prominently in several of the book’s major revelations, with one of the most significant being Britney's confession about getting pregnant while they were together and subsequently opting for an abortion due to Timberlake's lack of readiness for parenthood. In her own words, she writes, "I made the decision not to have the baby. If it had been solely up to me, I would have chosen differently. However, Justin was adamant about not wanting to become a father."

After the procedure, Spears claimed that her former partner attempted to help by playing the guitar while she was in tears on the bathroom floor. According to a source who exclusively spoke to Us in October 2023, Justin, known for his song "Cry Me a River," will always support Britney and her pursuits. However, he is trying to distance himself from the book. The insider explained that their relationship was in the distant past, and Justin now has a completely different life. He is focused on his family, career, and moving forward, hoping to leave the past in the past.

Colin Farrell

Spears described their movie set romance as a "brawl." According to her, they were extremely passionate, to the point where their physical interaction resembled a street fight.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton was one of the individuals who showed great kindness to me during a time when I truly needed it," Britney expressed, while also clarifying that their "party phase" in the early 2000s was not as extravagant as the media portrayed it to be.

Madonna

Madonna had a profound impact on Britney as she couldn't help but express her admiration for the iconic singer in her book. Awe-struck during the filming of their 2003 music video "Me Against the Music," Britney shared how Madonna's influence went beyond just introducing her to Kabbalah. The "Lucky" singer admitted that Madonna's presence had a positive and lasting effect on her.

Britney also called her and Madonna’s famous VMAs kiss a “huge cultural moment,” noting that it got them both “a lot of attention.”

Christina Aguilera

Despite maintaining a friendship with Aguilera since their time on the All New Mickey Mouse Club, Britney criticized her former costar's collaborative Rolling Stone cover story with Timberlake in 2003. "She suggested that Justin and I should reconcile, which was perplexing considering her overall negative views," Britney expressed.

Regarding the cover, Britney commented that Timberlake seemed to be gazing at Aguilera with a seductive gaze.

Jennifer Lopez

While talking about her own challenges with fame due to her introverted nature, Britney acknowledged that Lopez possesses a remarkable ability to navigate her celebrity status. Lopez effectively caters to people's fascination with her while also recognizing the importance of establishing boundaries.

Mariah Carey

Britney reminisced about a memorable encounter with Carey backstage at an awards ceremony where she managed to capture a flawless photo, all thanks to Carey's expertise in lighting and angles. "It was the ultimate reward – that perfect photo with Mariah Carey," Britney expressed.

Reese Witherspoon

In the midst of her third year of her Las Vegas residency, Britney drew motivation from Witherspoon as she aimed to break free from her conservatorship. Britney expressed, "She was a tremendous influence on me. She possesses kindness, warmth, and intelligence."

Ryan Seacrest

During a radio interview in 2007 to promote her album Blackout, Britney expressed her frustration about the TV personality, Ryan Seacrest, questioning her parenting abilities. She recalled being asked questions like, "How do you respond to those who criticize you as a mom?" and "Do you feel like you're doing everything you can for your kids?" Additionally, she was also asked about the frequency of her visits with her children.

Britney asserted that during that time, Seacrest and others were solely interested in discussing whether she was a suitable mother after her divorce from Kevin Federline, as well as her subsequent public breakdown. Britney emphasized that the focus was not on her achievement of creating a remarkable album while managing two babies and constantly facing potential dangers from multiple men. She further clarified that she no longer holds any negative feelings towards Seacrest.

Wade Robson

Britney admitted to being unfaithful to Timberlake with her ex-dancer and choreographer. After the affair, they mutually decided to put the drama behind them, as Britney assured Timberlake that he was the only one she had feelings for.

Songwriter Annet Artani — who collaborated with Britney on the heartfelt ballad "Everytime" in 2003 — provided further insights into Britney and Robson's romance in October 2023. According to TMZ, Artani disclosed that their affair lasted for an extended period, while also mentioning that Britney penned a 14-page letter to him.

Kevin Federline

Natalie Portman

The individual from Mississippi cleverly made a slight dig at her former spouse for his overly intense dedication to his rap career, writing, "Bless his heart." Britney and Federline, who went by the name K-Fed in his music releases, were married from 2004 to 2007 and have two sons together, Sean Preston and Jayden.

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling

While reminiscing in her memoir, Britney recounted her initial encounter with Portman during their time as understudies for the part of Tina Denmark in the off-Broadway production of Ruthless!. Moreover, she vividly depicted the character as a "sociopathic child star" — a role that resonated deeply with her own experiences.

“The casting for The Notebook came down to me and Rachel McAdams, and although reuniting with Ryan Gosling from our time on the Mickey Mouse Club would have been enjoyable, I am relieved that I decided not to do it,” revealed the star of Crossroads. “Had I accepted the role, instead of focusing on my album In the Zone, I would have found myself embodying a 1940s heiress both day and night.”

Elton John

Cher and Robin Williams

John assisted Britney in reigniting her love for music shortly after her conservatorship concluded in November 2021. Their collaboration on the 2022 track "Hold Me Closer," a modified rendition of his timeless song "Tiny Dancer," played a pivotal role in this revival.

Keri Russell

Britney once resided in a New York City apartment that was previously Cher's. Back then, she believed it would be an ideal place to use as a home base for exploring the city, but she rarely ventured out. In a rare instance, Britney found herself chuckling at a remark made by a man behind her in an elevator, only to discover that it was none other than Robin Williams.

Another individual from the Mickey Mouse Club that Britney used to be a part of, the pop star referred to Russell as "a lovely girl from California" after their introduction at an Atlanta casting call for the children's show.

Sarah Silverman

Steven Tyler

Britney was reported to have been in a state of uncontrollable sobbing backstage at the 2007 VMAs following Silverman's onstage roast, where she referred to Britney's children as "the most adorable mistakes you'll ever see."

Lenny Kravitz

Britney expressed that performing alongside the Aerosmith frontman during the halftime show at the 2001 Super Bowl was one of the standout moments of her early career. She fondly recalled the experience of being invited into Steven Tyler's trailer for a meeting just before the show and was in awe of his incredible energy. To her, he was a true idol and a source of inspiration.

The “Gimme More” singer recalled being starstruck by Kravis on several occasions, including at the VMAs and at a party thrown by Donatella Versace.

Donatella Versace

Britney paid a visit to a fashion designer in Milan shortly after her split with Timberlake in 2002. During that time, she attended a glamorous fashion show afterparty. "That trip revitalized me and served as a reminder that there is still enjoyment to be found in the world," she reflected. "Attending that party was truly the first step I took to reintegrate myself into the social scene after breaking up with Justin – it was a personal and innocent endeavor."

Ginuwine

During an outing in NYC with Timberlake, Britney shared that Timberlake had a freak-out moment when they unexpectedly bumped into the "Pony" singer on the street. She remembered her ex exclaiming, "'Oh yeah, fo shiz, fo shiz! Ginuwiiiiiine! What's up, homie?'"

Diane Sawyer

The infamous 2003 interview with Sawyer was labeled "completely humiliating" by Britney, who expressed her frustration with the journalist's probing questions about her drug use and breakup with Timberlake. She revealed that she had not been informed about the questions in advance, resulting in deeply embarrassing and uncomfortable moments. At that time, Britney admitted being too vulnerable and sensitive to handle such an interview.

Describing the interview as a "breaking point," Britney shared her feelings of being "exploited" and "set up in front of the whole world."

Max Martin

The initial encounter between Britney and the legendary songwriter and music producer took an unexpected turn when a candle ignited the table they were seated at, causing flames to ensue. Nevertheless, this incident did not hinder their partnership and they proceeded to collaborate on Britney's first album, ...Baby One More Time, released in 1999.

Adnan Ghalib

Britney admitted that during her relationship with the photographer in 2007, she was completely unaware that she was considered his "mistress." Allegedly, he used her as a means to cheat on his spouse. Nonetheless, Britney mentioned that she and Ghalib had an enjoyable time together before their separation in 2008.

Matt Lauer

In 2006, Britney faced yet another interview with Lauer where her parenting skills were questioned. She expressed her frustration that he never revealed the source of these inquiries, mentioning that it seemed like everyone was questioning her abilities as a mother. Lauer also inquired about what it would take for the paparazzi to stop hounding her. Britney expressed her wish that he would direct that question to the paparazzi themselves, so she could fulfill whatever it would require to finally gain her privacy.
