Britney Spears shared a sweet moment with her family on Instagram. The 42-year-old singer posted a photo on Wednesday, May 15, showing herself with her mother Lynne, sister Jamie Lynn, and Jamie Lynn's two daughters all sitting together at a kids' table.

"We all have our struggles with family, but goodness, the love we feel for them is beyond our control," the pop legend expressed in a caption. "Although I'm not in this photo, I feel like I am right there with them."

Sharing a picture of her family, she went on to say, "I wanted to share this photo because my family is truly beautiful and I miss them dearly." She then added, somewhat mysteriously, "In a world full of chaos and confusion, it's important to be aware of the devil's deceitful tactics to mislead and shame you."

Spears’ recent post about Lynne was unexpected considering their rocky relationship. It was a change from her usual comments.

In a recent incident, Spears was escorted barefoot from Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. The LAFD confirmed they responded to a call about an injured woman. On May 2, Spears explained on Instagram that she had rolled her ankle and blamed Lynne for the situation.

She alleged that her mom was involved in the incident. Despite not speaking to her for 6 months, her mom called right after it happened, even before the news was out. She feels like she was set up, just like in the past. She expressed her wish for having grandparents and her strong dislike towards her mom. She stated that she doesn't care and will speak her mind.

Lynne, aged 69, denied the accusations made by her daughter. The two have had a strained relationship for a long time. In Britney's best-selling memoir titled The Woman In Me from 2023, she mentioned how Lynne had disposed of her cherished Madame Alexander dolls and childhood poems. This incident led Britney to realize that she didn't want to see her family again. In response, Lynne posted a photo on Instagram showing the allegedly missing doll collection and asked Britney if she wanted her to send the toys.

On May 5, Jamie Lynn, 33, shared a heartfelt birthday message for her mom on social media. She described her mom as beautiful and highlighted her childlike spirit that brings magic to everything she does. Jamie Lynn expressed how blessed they are to have her in their lives.

Lynne was previously married to Jamie Spears and they have three children together - Britney, Jamie Lynn, and son Bryan. The family became well-known thanks to Britney's hit song "Baby One More Time" that catapulted her to superstardom. Despite facing personal challenges, Britney was placed under a conservatorship in 2008, managed by Jamie, who is now 71 years old. In November 2021, the court ended Jamie's role as Britney's conservator, granting her the freedom to live life on her own terms.
