Britney Spears addressed mother Lynne Spears' recent allegations regarding her missing doll collection in a response on Instagram. On November 11th, the 41-year-old pop star posted a heartfelt message about her initial encounter with fellow artist Taylor Swift, concluding with a passionate note aimed at her 68-year-old mother, Lynne.

"Mom, I have so much love for you, but when I returned home two years ago, I noticed that there were three dolls in the cabinets. It was a bit strange that you had taken them out and then put them back. It really messed with my emotions."

In her recently published memoir, "The Woman in Me," Britney revealed that this incident made her realize that she no longer wanted to have any contact with her family. She claimed that during the coronavirus pandemic, she visited her mom in Louisiana after her relatives started ignoring her phone calls.

During the visit, Britney was dismayed to find out that her cherished Madame Alexander doll collection, which she had received as a child, had been discarded, along with multiple years' worth of her writing and cherished original poetry.

In contrast, Lynne has refuted her eldest daughter's allegations and maintained that she still has all the dolls in her possession.

"I did not, under any circumstances, dispose of your dolls and journals, despite what you may have heard. I would never commit such a heartless act, considering how much they hold meaning to you," Lynne expressed on Instagram on Thursday, November 9, addressing Britney and her siblings, Bryan Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears. As further evidence, Lynne also shared several pictures of the dolls in question. "These dolls hold a special place in my heart as well, due to the many years we spent collecting them," she added. "Rest assured, I still possess your belongings and would be more than willing to send them to you if you'd like. Simply inform me, and remember how much I cherish you."

On Saturday, Britney made it clear that she has no interest in keeping the dolls. In her Instagram note, the Grammy winner stated, "Nope, I don't want them. Keep it all. I honestly don't care anymore...honestly though."

This message was added as a side note in a heartfelt post about Britney's first encounter with Swift, who is now 33. Britney recounted, "During my Oops [I Did It Again] Tour, there was a knock on my door. My good friend at the time, who was the assistant to my manager aspiring to become a manager himself, said, 'I have a girl named Taylor who wants to come in and sing for you.' I was like, 'Of course!!!'".

Britney recalled being mesmerized by Swift's "captivating performance with her guitar" and was in awe of her "extraordinary" talent. Reflecting on their encounter, Britney enthused, "We had a photo together, and from that moment on, she epitomized the pinnacle of pop for our generation. It's incredible how she fills up stadiums, and I personally find her music videos more captivating than movies. She's simply breathtaking!!!"
