Braunwyn Windham-Burke's High-Stakes Divorce: Former Partner Slapped With Jaw-Dropping $11K Monthly Support Demand

Reality star Braunwyn Windham-Burke seeks $11K/month in child and spousal support from ex-husband Sean Burke, filing legal documents for financial assistance

Despite her ongoing celebration of her engagement to Jennifer Spinner, Braunwyn Windham-Burke's divorce from Sean Burke has not yet been finalized.

On Friday, July 26, Braunwyn, who is 45 years old, filed documents to request that $11,000 per month be withheld from Sean's salary. This is in addition to the $6,000 per month in child support and $5,000 per month in spousal support that Sean is already obligated to pay, as per a previous court order. The couple has seven children together: Bella, 22, Rowan, 21, Jacob, 18, twins Caden and Curren, 10, Koa, 8, and Hazel, 5. The documentation provided on Friday specifically includes the four underage children.

According to court documents obtained by We, Burke is currently working at a company called Economic Transfer Strategies. In an earlier filing, Windham-Burke stated that her estranged husband has ceased providing any financial support for her and their four minor children.

In December 2022 court documents, Windham-Burke claimed, "Since I was 20 years old, I have depended on [Sean] for all financial security." She also mentioned that she was unable to provide basic living expenses or cover expenses for their children at that time. Furthermore, she stated, "For 23 years, I have relied on [Sean] to make all financial decisions, and I have been intentionally kept unaware of the true extent of our business interests and assets."

Four months later, the parties reached an agreement where Burke would provide monthly payments of $11,000 to Windham-Burke starting from May 1. The decision specified that Burke's spousal support payments of $5,000 would continue indefinitely, unless either party passed away, the Petitioner remarried, or the court issued a different order.

Windham-Burke, who publicly revealed her homosexuality in late 2020, recently got engaged to Spinner. On July 15, Spinner shared on Instagram that it had been one year since they met and that Windham-Burke proposed. Spinner happily accepted, exclaiming, "hell yes!"

Spinner expressed that their love is everything they had once fantasized about during math class, describing it as fast, messy, pure, and real. Braunwyn, Sean, and their children have filled a void in Spinner's life that they didn't even realize was there, making their future appear brighter. They have confirmed that their wedding date is set for October 19, 2024, and although Spinner initially desired a small ceremony with close friends and family, they jokingly acknowledged that it will not be feasible given their partner's extended family from Long Island. They are excited about the wedding and already have a venue reserved in Nashville.

Spinner expressed doubt about her ability to be a satisfactory househusband if Windham-Burke were to rejoin The Real Housewives of Orange County. However, Windham-Burke reassured her that a return to the show was not something she was considering. "I have no intention of doing that," Windham-Burke told Extra regarding a potential comeback to Bravo.
