Real Housewives Star Braunwyn Windham-Burke's Extraordinary Engagement Amid Her Divorce Takes Everyone By Surprise!

Braunwyn Windham-Burke is officially engaged to Jennifer Spinner amid her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Sean Burke.

"Today marks one year since I crossed paths with the person who has become the love of my life. It is also the day when @braunwynwindhamburke asked me to marry her, and without hesitation, I enthusiastically responded, 'absolutely!'" Spinner, 39, shared this heartfelt message on Instagram on Saturday, July 15, accompanied by photos capturing the tender moment of the proposal.

She went on to express, "Our love is exhilarating, beautiful, authentic, and encompasses all the qualities I had once only daydreamed about during dull math classes. Braunwyn, Sean, and their children have introduced me to a sense of fulfillment I never realized was missing from my life. Each new day is now filled with boundless love and radiance. Yes, today. Yes, tomorrow. Yes, forever, my beloved."

Windham-Burke, who is 45 years old, shared beautiful photos of their proposal. The photos showcased a romantic picnic adorned with glowing letters that spelled out the words "Marry Me."

Excitedly, she announced on Instagram, "She said 'YES!' Happy Anniversary @hashtag_blehssed. Asking you to be my wife and spend the rest of your life with me in the very place we first met feels incredibly perfect. You are undeniably my soulmate, and I adore you in every possible way, both big and small. I can't wait to marry you! (And yes, we already have a date!) xoxo I am now engaged!!"

The former cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County proposed on one knee at Little Island park in New York City. After grabbing coffee at Penn Station, the couple decided to extend their date and took a stroll along the High Line. Eventually, they found themselves at Little Island, a park located on the remains of Pier 54, which holds sentimental value as it was the site of their first kiss.

This engagement follows six months after the pair shared pictures of themselves in front of the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

In order for Windham-Burke to proceed with her wedding, she must obtain legal confirmation of her single status. She had married Sean Burke in 2000, around two decades prior to publicly identifying as a lesbian. Despite this, she had previously stated that they intended to remain married.

"Co-parenting has been a great success for us. We have a strong bond as best friends," Windham-Burke revealed exclusively to We magazine in September 2021. "We have been together for 26 years. He understands that fulfilling this lifelong dream of mine is important to me, and he is fully supportive!"

Content The couple has several children together, including Bella, aged 22, Rowan, aged 20, Jacob, aged 17, twins Caden and Curren, aged 9, Koa, aged 7, and Hazel, aged 4. In October 2022, Windham-Burke filed for divorce from Burke. It was two months after she made her relationship with Spinner public. In December 2022, documents obtained stated that Windham-Burke was unable to support her children during their separation. As such, she was seeking a minimum of $10,000 per month in spousal support from Burke.
