It's like being kicked in the balls.

The MCU has been incorporating Yelena into various projects since her appearance in the Hawkeye TV show. She is set to reprise her role in the Thunderbolts movie, currently in production, where she will play a significant role in the storyline. Marvel Studios has not disclosed any future plans for the new Black Widow beyond Thunderbolts.
Even if Black Widow 2 does not come to fruition, there are numerous opportunities in MCU films and TV series to further develop Yelena as a character. Black Widow served as a strong foundation for Yelena's character and her connection with Natasha. As fans anticipate her return to the MCU in 2025, they can revisit Yelena's introduction in Black Widow on Disney+ or Blu-Ray/DVD.
