In contrast to Christine Brown, who did not have all her children present on her wedding day, Janelle Brown joyously celebrated the exceptional feat of having her own six children together in one place.
Janelle, 54, shared an Instagram post on Thursday, October 12, captioning it "Finally got a picture with my babies. Happy mama ️." In the photo, Janelle looked radiant in a pink cap-sleeve dress, standing alongside her eldest daughter Madison, 27, and Madison's husband Caleb Brush. The couple had their three children, Axel (6), Evangalynn (4), and Josephine (8 months), with them. Janelle's daughter Savanah, 18, and sons Logan (29), Hunter (26), Garrison (25), and Gabriel (22), were also present and all had smiles on their faces as they posed for the family picture.
Janelle, who entered a spiritual marriage with Kody Brown in 1993, shares her children with her ex. In a 2022 interview on the season 17 Sister Wives: One-on-One special, she revealed that they had been separated for several months. The fractures in their relationship have been explored in the recently premiered season 18 of the TLC reality show, leading up to their official split. Janelle expressed her feelings and admitted missing Kody during a September episode after a heated argument, stating that they are still very close friends and she misses having him by her side in bed and at home.
The pair made an effort to reconcile, but Janelle ultimately decided to maintain some distance for a bit longer. "I don't ask for much from him," she expressed to the cameras. "However, when he suddenly refuses to be a father to my children just because they disagree with him... That significantly alters the pros and cons of this marriage for me."
Kody was legally married to Meri Brown from 1990 until 2014 when he chose to divorce her and legally marry Robyn Brown in order to adopt her children from a previous relationship. Kody and Meri, 52, initially continued their spiritual marriage after this change, but they confirmed their split earlier this year. He and Robyn, 45, are still together.

Christine became the first of Kody's sister wives to leave the family in 2021. Following her divorce, she entered a relationship with David Woolley, publicly announcing their romance on Valentine's Day. David proposed in April, and they exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony in Utah on Saturday, October 7.
Janelle was the only Sister Wives co-star of Christine's who attended the wedding. Five of Christine and Kody's six children, namely Paedon (25), Aspyn (28), Mykelti (27), Ysabel (20), and Truely (13), joined in the celebration. However, Gwendlyn (21) was noticeably absent.
"I honestly have no idea," Mykelti said during a Patreon Q&A when questioned about Gwendlyn's absence from the wedding. "She didn't inform me of the reason why she wasn't in attendance. It was quite surprising to me when she didn't show up. I had no prior knowledge of her absence."
She went on to express, "I find it to be a tragic and saddening situation for my mother. The reasons behind her absence remain unknown to me. It could have been due to an unforeseen emergency or perhaps there was no reason at all, who knows?... But it is undeniably a somber situation."
Neither Gwendlyn nor Christine have further addressed her absence.
