Ariana Madix wants to set the record straight about her financial situation before and after Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel "Rachel" Leviss.
In a sneak peek of the upcoming episode of Vanderpump Rules airing on Tuesday, March 12, Ariana, 38, shared with Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, and Ally Lewber that she was struggling financially before the scandal.
Ariana clarified that the rumors about her making millions of dollars were false. She mentioned that on March 1st, she was not financially ready to make a move. Just the week before everything happened, she reached out to her agent and manager to discuss improving her financial situation.
She went on to share more about her financial journey, revealing that when she started earning decent money, she and her partner decided to buy a house. However, they ended up playing catch up financially until they found the perfect location for their sandwich shop, "Something About Her."
She explained that a significant portion of her money was spent on that. By March, she found herself with only $2,000 left. It was a challenging situation, and she was not exaggerating.
Ariana attributed her decision to take on multiple work opportunities to the aftermath of her breakup with Scandoval. She expressed frustration at the situation he had created, which had left her struggling to financially recover and progress to the next stage in a responsible manner.

I aim to earn enough money to support my mom, brother, and any other relatives who may need assistance. I want to eliminate any worries about financial stability, so I am committed to working hard to achieve that goal."
Ariana and Katie, both 37, are dedicated to launching their sandwich shop. Despite facing some challenges, the duo shared that they earned $200,000 from selling merchandise related to the shop. However, delays in obtaining permits have prevented Something About Her from opening its doors.
In an exclusive interview with We in October 2023, Ariana mentioned, "We're focusing on what we can control and leaving the rest to the powers that be. We're adapting to the unexpected hurdles." Katie chimed in, "It seems like every time we overcome one obstacle, another one pops up."
The Vanderpump Rules costars have confirmed that their French bistro-inspired shop, Something About Her, will not be paying tribute to the show.
Katie mentioned to Us that nothing at the shop is related to the show or any cast members. Ariana added that Bravo viewers should not expect their shop to focus on their reality TV roots, stating, "We need to introduce some new material."
