Inside Ariana Madix's Wild Night at Governors Ball with Hunky Boyfriend Daniel Wai

Ariana Madix and Daniel Wai enjoyed a fun-filled weekend at the Governors Ball, a music festival in New York City. The couple, who attended the festival on June 10th and 11th, saw performances from popular artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, Rina Sawayama, and Odesza. It was the perfect way to spend a summer weekend!

On Sunday, Wai disclosed that he and Madix’s friends had arranged the festival outing as an early birthday treat for the Pump Rules star, who will be turning 38 on June 24. Madix believed she was going out for dinner, but was pleasantly surprised by friend Brad Kearns on the plane, according to the fitness expert's Instagram post. Lamar, 35, also performed during the surprise celebration, which included Wai hugging Madix in a photo that he shared on social media. Madix reposted the image and documented the event on her Instagram Story with several pictures and videos. One photo from Saturday showed the happy Florida native beaming with joy as Wai held her close during the show.

In April, Wai and former SUR bartender, Ariana, were spotted together at Coachella with a group of friends, sparking rumors of a romance. According to an insider, Ariana is currently single and embracing her newfound freedom after being in a relationship for several years. Prior to this, it was revealed that Ariana's former boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, had cheated on her with their Pump Rules costar Raquel Leviss, leading to their breakup after nine years of dating.

Madix and Wai have been seen together frequently since Coachella, enjoying nights out in New York City and showing affection during dinner dates. In a May interview on the Today show, Madix shared that she met Wai shortly after news of Sandoval's affair became public. She clarified that she had no expectations when they first met and has been taking their relationship slowly, enjoying Wai's kind and caring nature.

Madix spoke highly of her partner during an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen following the season 10 finale of Pump Rules. She expressed her happiness and satisfaction without revealing too much about her new relationship. Kristen Doute, a friend of Madix, also showed her approval of the new couple by commenting "Good job" on Wai's post. It's worth noting that Doute had previously dated Madix's ex, Sandoval, from 2008 to 2014.

Jasmine Goode, a member of Bachelor Nation who was present with the couple at Governors Ball, expressed her love and support for them. Lala Kent had previously commended Ariana Madix for her strength in putting herself back out there after her breakup with Tom Sandoval. During an episode of her podcast "Give Them Lala," Kent described Madix as confident and content with her life, no longer plagued by anxiety.
