A heated argument between Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval on Vanderpump Rules almost led to the police being called.
In the latest episode that aired on April 1st, Ariana, 38, found herself having to deal with Sandoval, 41, once again because their mutual friends kept inviting them to the same events.
Ariana explained to the cameras that it's not easy to avoid being around her ex-boyfriend, Sandoval, since they share the same group of friends. Months after their breakup due to his cheating scandal with Rachel "Raquel" Leviss, she expressed the challenge of being in the same social circle.
The group gathered at James Kennedy's house for a water tasting event, but the atmosphere was tense from the beginning. Ariana playfully teased Sandoval for his attempts to help out around the house. Unfortunately, James' home wasn't large enough for her ex to not overhear her comments.
“He’s doing so much. He’s doing too much right now. Why is he doing the most?” Ariana asked the other people in attendance.

Sandoval responded to Ariana's criticisms in a confessional. He expressed that it's challenging for him to stay in the background or be quiet when he hears Ariana making negative comments about him. Sandoval mentioned that he has been putting in effort to mend relationships, but feels overwhelmed by Ariana's constant pressure on others to take her side. This situation puts him at a disadvantage.
Ariana was asked about Sandoval's assistant in an effort to change the subject. She shared about her conversation with Ann Maddox before calling Sandoval a "dog murderer" in front of their costars. This led to Sandoval attempting to talk to his ex-girlfriend on screen.
Directly addressing Sandoval, Ariana expressed, "You went into my room with the door closed. Don't ever do that again." She recounted how he allowed her dog, Mya, into her room and then locked her in there for hours. Mya ended up chewing on takeout containers while trapped, which could have had severe consequences given what she had ingested.
Sandoval accused Ariana of neglecting her cat's litter box for "two years." However, Ariana proved him wrong by mentioning she had just changed it a week ago. Vanderpump Rules even showed footage of her doing so.
In response, Ariana brought up how Sandoval almost harmed her dog and warned him not to enter her room. She emphasized that her room is her only safe space at home, which he had "wrecked."
Sandoval mentioned that Ariana made a big leap from forgetting to let Mya out to accusing him of "dog murder." He reassured everyone by saying, "Mya is fine. No harm done to the dog in this situation."

Ariana attempted to make another point but Sandoval cut her off. In response, she yelled at him while their friend group watched.
"Secondly, please stop interrupting me! My lawyer will handle this situation, not me," she said firmly. "When I returned from SUR, I noticed that you had left the back door wide open. This is another example of your carelessness and lack of concern for the house that meant so much to me and my children."
Ariana went on to say, "Please stay away from me. I never want to see you again. You are a terrible person."
After Sandoval refused to back down, Ariana threatened to call the police. She exclaimed, “I feel like I'm being harassed. I'm going to dial 911,” just before Sandoval walked away. She accused him of trying to ruin her life and endangering her dog by trapping her in a room for hours.
Ariana did not receive support from her fellow Vanderpump Rules cast members, whether in person or in their private interviews. Lala Kent, in particular, raised doubts about Ariana's responsibility for her dog's recent emergency vet visit.
Lala, 33, expressed her disapproval of Ariana going into the room where the dog was eating disgusting meat. She felt that Ariana was at fault for not properly disposing of the trash. Lala mentioned Ariana's past involvement in a trash bag commercial, questioning why she didn't know how to throw trash away.
On the other hand, Scheana Shay shared her concerns about Ariana's anger. She emphasized the importance of processing emotions in a healthy way for the sake of one's mental well-being. Scheana advised Ariana to find a way to deal with her emotions and move forward with her life.
Ariana, however, made it clear to her friends that she had no plans to make peace with Sandoval.

She expressed her frustration by saying she cannot have a constructive conversation with someone she described as a sociopath, disgusting, psycho, narcissist, gaslighter, and piece of trash. She ended by stating her intention to confront him aggressively.
When the group decided to hang out together on a beach day, things took a turn for the worse. Sandoval joined the group, and Brock Davies made a joke about his affair with Rachel, 29, which upset Ariana visibly.
Ariana expressed her feelings to Sandoval, saying, "Can you please have this conversation away from me? It's really disgusting. This is on you." She found the conversation topic to be disgusting because of Sandoval, and suggested they have it somewhere else.
Tom Schwartz tried to diffuse tensions by praising Ariana and Sandoval for putting their pets first. However, Ariana quickly clarified that she now considers the animals in their shared home to be hers.
She firmly stated, "I am a proud dog and cat parent. They belong to me. I covered the adoption costs, so they are mine. Mya is specifically my dog. I have taken care of all her needs, from walks to baths. So, yeah, they are mine."

Sandoval saw this as a chance to claim ownership of their shared home, citing that he was the one who discovered it. This led to Ariana refusing to speak to him, causing Sandoval to leave the group event once again.
Feeling frustrated, Sandoval expressed his disappointment, mentioning that anything he does or says seems to upset Ariana. He had hoped that their relationship would be as amicable as Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney's.
Ariana expressed her frustration at constantly running into Sandoval when trying to spend time with her friends. She questioned why this had to happen repeatedly.
During a conversation, Ariana voiced her decision to avoid similar situations in the future. She pointed out that while she chose not to engage in such behavior, her friends continued to allow Sandoval to be disrespectful.
Ariana asked her friends to intervene and keep Sandoval away from her. She emphasized that he had negatively impacted her life and continuously disrespected her. She urged her friends, particularly the men, to step in and address Sandoval's misogynistic behavior.
Ariana also confronted Lala for constantly defending Sandoval, accusing her of being his advocate.
"He is like the devil and you are supporting him. He will never show any remorse or apologize," Ariana expressed. "You keep forcing him into my life, and how do you expect me to have a good time? Especially when he keeps making hurtful remarks towards me. What do you think will happen?"
Vanderpump Rules airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and will be available to stream on Peacock the next day.
