Andy Cohen, 55, is stepping into a new role as a conspiracy theorist, leaving behind his Bravo boss persona. He took to X on Monday, March 18, expressing his doubts about a video released by TMZ showing Princess Kate Middleton during a recent outing with Prince William. Cohen exclaimed, "That ain't Kate...."

Cohen continued to support his theory on Instagram Stories on Monday. He shared a screenshot from the video featuring Kate, 42, and created a poll asking followers if it was Princess Kate. The poll results showed that 72 percent of respondents chose "no."

The TMZ clip from Monday seemed to be filmed by a bystander at the Windsor Farm Shop where Kate and William, 41, were seen shopping on Saturday, March 16. Kate was dressed casually in leggings and a jacket, while William wore jeans and a baseball cap.

The eyewitness, who has since been identified as Nelson Silva, told TMZ that Kate “looked happy and relaxed” during her outing with William.

Silva noticed a couple picking out loaves of bread at the shop. He recognized the woman's face, feeling like he had seen it before. It seemed familiar to him, but he couldn't pinpoint where.

Later, Silva went to his car and saw the couple exiting the shop. He decided to film them as they walked out through a gate. They disappeared without getting into a car, leaving Silva puzzled.

The video has now gone viral, sparking a debate online. Some social media users are relieved to have an update on Kate's well-being. However, others are skeptical, questioning whether the woman in the video is actually Kate.

Questions have been raised about Kate's whereabouts ever since she had planned abdominal surgery in January. Kensington Palace had announced that she would be taking a break from public duties to recover until after Easter.

According to a source, there is uncertainty about the specific medical condition Kate has been dealing with. However, the source mentioned that Kate is known for being transparent and honest. She simply wants her privacy during this time.

After her surgery, Kate made her first public appearance earlier this month. A photo of her sitting in the passenger seat next to her mother, Carole Middleton, was obtained by TMZ. Shortly after, the Daily Mail published a photo of her in the backseat of a car, this time with William. (Some royal watchers are still unsure if it was really Kate in those photos.)

A source mentioned to Us that once Kate returns to work after Easter, she will likely share an update on her health. The source explained that the update will probably come during a royal walkabout, when she is meeting and greeting members of the public.

Editor's P/S:

Andy Cohen's skepticism regarding the identity of Princess Kate in a recent video has ignited a flurry of speculation and debate. Cohen's theory, supported by a poll showing 72% of respondents believe the woman in the video is not Kate, challenges the authenticity of the footage. The video, captured by a bystander, shows a casual-dressed couple resembling Kate and Prince William shopping at a farm shop. However, the couple's disappearance without a car and the subsequent online skepticism have raised questions about its credibility.

The article highlights the uncertainty surrounding Kate's whereabouts following her planned abdominal surgery in January. Despite her expected return to public duties after Easter, questions persist about her health and the accuracy of recent photos purportedly showing her. While a source indicates that Kate values transparency, the lack of official updates has fueled speculation and the emergence of conspiracy theories. The ongoing debate underscores the public's fascination with the royal family and the thirst for information about their private lives, even when the accuracy of that information is questionable.
