Andy Cohen has a unique connection with all the Housewives, but his dynamic with Tamra Judge stands out.
The 55-year-old Bravo executive producer opened up about Judge's response to their sexual chemistry being mentioned in his latest book, The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up.
Cohen reminisced about his memorable experiences with Tamra, a cast member from the Real Housewives of Orange County. He recalled how she would casually ask him about their relationship and would often show him her bare breasts, leaving a lasting impression on him. As a single father to two children, Cohen shared these outrageous memories during an interview on SiriusXM's Howard Stern Show on Thursday, June 15.
During a live New Year's Eve event on Bravo, I had the opportunity to share a memorable moment with her, possibly in 2011 leading into 2012. It involved a midnight kiss on air, right in front of her husband [Eddie Judge]. This experience is not something I simply made up; it actually happened.
Expanding on the topic, Cohen expressed that there is a certain level of comfort when a straight woman flirts with a gay man. He humorously mentioned how he had inquired about her breasts enough times that she might have eventually thought, "Well, let me just show you." Cohen acknowledged that if he were straight, perhaps she wouldn't have gone to that extent. He feels grateful to be included in such conversations.
In his latest memoir, released in May, Cohen chronicles the significant milestones of his life in 2022. He also delves into the controversy surrounding Tamra's comeback to the Bravo franchise after a short break.
Tamra initially joined RHOC as a cast member from season 3 to season 14. Following a three-episode farewell appearance, she departed the show in January 2020. However, Tamra recently confirmed her full-time return to RHOC after a two-year absence from the cameras.
Vicki Gunvalson, who is set to make an appearance in season 17, expressed her mixed emotions about not being invited back in a more significant role alongside her friend during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in July 2022.
Gunvalson expressed her excitement for her friend's return and acknowledged that she would be a bad friend if she didn't feel that way. During an appearance on E!'s Daily Pop, the 61-year-old reality star admitted to experiencing FOMO, just like any other woman would in her position. Reflecting on when she first learned the news, Gunvalson revealed that she went through a range of emotions. It was three or four weeks later when Tamra called her to share the news of her return, and Gunvalson's immediate reaction was to cry, as she had not received a similar call herself.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Wednesdays on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET
