Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig were seen looking happy and in love during a recent outing in New York City.

The couple, with Shue at 56 and Fiebig at 46, walked hand in hand on Friday, March 1. They were all smiles as they made their way to dinner. Shue kept it casual in jeans and a black jacket, while Fiebig looked stylish in a black trench coat and leather boots.

Shue and Fiebig have been keeping a low profile since news of their relationship came out last year. Their former partners, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, made headlines when they were spotted being affectionate outside of work in November 2022.

In that same month, Holmes, 46, filed for divorce from Fiebig after being married for over ten years. Robach, 51, also ended her marriage with Shue, whom she tied the knot with in 2010. Two months after the photos of Holmes and Robach surfaced, ABC decided to let go of them as cohosts on GMA3: What You Need to Know.

Holmes and Robach broke their silence about the scandal one year later.

In the debut episode of their podcast "Amy and T.J." in December 2023, Holmes clarified that when news of their relationship came out, people mistakenly thought they were being accused of cheating on their spouses. However, the reality was that both Shue and Fiebig were already in the process of getting divorced when the pictures were taken and the article was published.

Robach, on the other hand, said that she and Shue were already separated when she began a relationship with Holmes.

"We were already in the process of getting divorced, seeking legal help, and trying to protect our children and families. We believed we had the right to privacy and time, but maybe that was naive of us," she explained.

In the same month, a source confirmed that Shue and Fiebig are in a happy and genuine romance.

Holmes and Robach have been using their platform to occasionally make subtle remarks about their previous marriages. In January, Holmes had a message that seemed to be about Shue and Fiebig's relationship.

Holmes shared on their podcast that tabloid stories are not reported but planted. They gained a deeper understanding of this concept this year. Robach agreed, calling it a good and accurate observation.

Robach recently shared her thoughts on staying in a relationship during an interview with Holmes. When asked about reasons to stay or leave a relationship, Robach emphasized the importance of mutual respect. She believes that love is a choice that goes beyond just feelings, as it can be cyclical.

According to Robach, staying in a relationship is worth it if you have mutual respect for each other. She suggests finding a partner who you not only respect, but also genuinely like and enjoy spending time with. Even during disagreements, being able to share laughter and maintain mutual respect are key factors in deciding to stay in a relationship.

Robach shared that ending a relationship can be challenging. She emphasized the importance of respect in a relationship, stating that once it is lost, it is difficult to regain. She also mentioned that if basic activities become unenjoyable with a partner, it could be a significant warning sign. Ultimately, Robach believes that respect is the key factor in determining the strength of a marriage.
