Andrew Shue and his son, Wyatt, have been spending valuable time together before Andrew's estranged wife, Amy Robach, went on an outing with T.J. Holmes. Wyatt, 19, shared their cross-country road trip on his Instagram on July 22. He captioned a picture of him and his 56-year-old father at a gas station in their yellow truck with "Transcontinental half done." The teenager also uploaded another photo of them posing in a parking lot during their long journey.

Shue, who co-parents his children Nate, Aidan, and Wyatt with his ex-wife Jennifer Hageney, has been seen in his sons' social media posts while deliberately avoiding attention. Following Robach's scandal with Holmes, the actor known for his role in Melrose Place has chosen to maintain a low profile.

Meanwhile, Robach, 50, was photographed on a date with Holmes on Friday, July 21. The couple visited various bars in New York City, and pictures from the occasion captured them holding hands and enjoying a meal at an Italian restaurant before exploring other dining spots nearby.

The former costars of GMA3 generated media attention in November 2022 after they were seen displaying affection outside the workplace. Just a month later, Holmes initiated divorce proceedings with his wife of over ten years, Marilee Fiebig.

Meanwhile, Shue provided insight into the state of his marriage with Robach by deleting any references to her on Instagram. We subsequently verified that the pair has filed for divorce and are currently recognized as single during the ongoing legal process.

Us previously reported that Robach and Holmes were fired from ABC this year after an investigation into their relationship. Shortly thereafter, ABC released a statement regarding their abrupt departure, stating that after multiple discussions with Robach and Holmes, it was mutually agreed upon that it would be in everyone's best interest for them to part ways with ABC News. ABC acknowledged their talent and dedication throughout the years and expressed gratitude for their contributions.

According to a source, Robach is determined to maintain a presence in her stepchildren's lives following the drama. The insider revealed in April that she has an intermittent relationship with Andrew's sons. Robach wants to continue being regarded as their stepmother and will be available for them. She is actively trying to resolve the situation regarding her relationship with Andrew's children. Despite Andrew struggling emotionally, his sons still keep in touch and communicate with Robach.

In the same month, another source disclosed that Robach and Holmes were progressing further in their relationship.

"They are currently savoring their romantic getaway and have no urgency," the insider disclosed. "They are engaging in activities together that they hadn't experienced in their previous marriages. At the moment, their main focus is enjoying each other's company and their openly acknowledged relationship. Once things have settled, they intend to live together. Their commitment is strong."
