T.J. Holmes and Marilee Fiebig have reached a divorce settlement less than a year after his relationship with Amy Robach was made public, according to confirmed reports. The attorneys for Holmes, aged 46, and Fiebig, aged 45, filed the completed paperwork on October 11th, as seen in official records. The certificate of dissolution has already been processed in the New York County Supreme Court, while the settlement and divorce judgment are currently awaiting approval. The certificate of dissolution was filed and processed today in the New York County Supreme Court, while the settlement and proposed judgment have been filed, but are still pending.
The news of Holmes and Fiebig reaching a settlement comes two months after an exclusive source revealed their close proximity to a resolution. They share a 10-year-old daughter named Sabine, while Holmes also has two other children, Brianne and Jaiden, with his first wife Amy Ferson.
In December 2022, just a month after the Daily Mail released pictures of Holmes and Robach appearing close during several outings, Us Magazine reported that Holmes had officially filed for divorce from Fiebig, her husband of 12 years. Shortly after, Fiebig spoke out about the affair and her subsequent divorce.
"Marilee's unwavering priority has always been her daughter's best interest," stated Fiebig's attorney, Stephanie Lehman, in a January statement to Us. "In order to achieve this, T.J.'s lawyer and I are collaborating to progress their divorce in a private, efficient, and amicable manner."
Lehman further expressed, "We remain disheartened by T.J.'s unthoughtfulness, disrespect, and lack of sensitivity towards Marilee and their daughter. Marilee has been deeply moved by the overwhelming support received and eagerly anticipates a fresh start in this new year."
Fiebig was unaware of T.J.'s affair with Robach, as revealed by a source in March. The insider explained that Fiebig felt disrespected by their public display of affection in photos, and the realization that T.J. was serious about his relationship with Robach made her realize that a reconciliation was unlikely.
After the revelation of their relationship led to their termination from ABC in January, Holmes and Robach have consistently displayed a strong connection. A source exclusively revealed to Us in November 2022 that their bond grew even stronger during their work trips together.
Presently, both news anchors are eager to progress their relationship in multiple aspects.
According to a source, they are presenting themselves as a team and have proposed various projects including a reality show, docuseries, and daytime talk show, all of which they anticipate will attract a large audience. Amy has emphasized that regardless of the endeavor they choose, their focus is on genuine love and being united.
In 2010, Robach married Andrew Shue. The former ABC personality has two daughters from her previous marriage with Tim McIntosh, and upon marrying Shue, she also became a stepmother to his three sons. In April, a source exclusively informed Us that Robach was legally single at that time, although she and Shue were still undergoing mediation regarding their property and assets.
