Andrew Shue Embraces Fatherhood: The Ultimate Journey of Rediscovery After His Split with Amy Robach

Andrew Shue devotes himself to his three sons following his separation from Amy Robach, putting their well-being first after her involvement with TJ Holmes

Andrew Shue has prioritized his family following his separation from Amy Robach. According to an exclusive source, Andrew has been dedicating more meaningful moments with his sons since their divorce. Although Amy is no longer present in their daily lives, she still maintains a relationship with the children and continues to communicate with them.

Shue, aged 56, is the biological father of three boys named Nathaniel, aged 27, Aidan, aged 26, and Wyatt, aged 19. These boys were born from his previous marriage with Jennifer Hageney. Additionally, Shue has taken on the role of stepfather to Robach's two daughters named Ava, aged 21, and Analise, aged 17. Ava and Analise were born from Robach's previous marriage with Tim McIntosh.

Despite their separation last year, Shue and Robach, currently aged 50, have actively maintained a connection with each other's children.

In April, a source informed Us that Amy has a sporadic relationship with Andrew's sons. She is currently making efforts to iron out the difficulties that arise from seeing Andrew's children. Being their stepmother for a significant period of time, she desires a continued connection with them; however, Andrew is grappling with emotional challenges surrounding this situation. Nevertheless, his sons continue to maintain contact and communicate with Amy.

On the other hand, Shue took the opportunity to involve his stepdaughters in the birthday celebration he held in New York City in February. He also joined them along with his sons for a Bruce Springsteen concert in April.

The former couple officially ended their relationship in March, following the emergence of photos in November 2022 showing Robach and GMA3 coanchor T.J. Holmes engaging in intimate behavior. Holmes, 45, who is now in the process of divorcing his wife Marilee Fiebig, and Robach were both dismissed from the morning show as a consequence of their affair. In a statement to Variety in January, ABC confirmed that, following constructive discussions with the pair, it was mutually agreed that the best course of action for everyone involved was for Robach and Holmes to depart from ABC News.

Despite the scandal, the two individuals have chosen to maintain their relationship and have been seen together on multiple occasions. In January, Fiebig, aged 45, finally addressed her estranged husband's unfaithfulness through a statement made by her attorney, Stephanie Lehman, to Us.

Lehman expressed her disappointment in T.J.'s lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity towards Marilee and their daughter. She emphasized that Fiebig's main concern is her and Holmes' 10-year-old daughter, Sabine. (Holmes is also a parent to daughter Brianna and son Jaiden from his previous marriage to Amy Ferson.)

Shue has refrained from making any public statements regarding the cheating scandal. Nevertheless, his sister, renowned actress Elisabeth Shue, provided an update on his current state in June. "He is doing exceptionally well," affirmed Elisabeth, 59, during her conversation with Page Six.
