Alexa and Carlos PenaVega experienced a stillbirth with their fourth child.

The Spy Kids actress, 35, and her husband, 34, announced the pregnancy loss via Instagram on Monday, April 15.

After a beautiful and peaceful delivery, our daughter ‘Indy’ was born at rest,” the couple wrote. It has been a painful journey, but in the pain, we have found peace. We have felt God’s comfort and embrace during this difficult time. The prayers and support from our community have been a source of strength for us.

This little girl, Indy, has already made a profound impact on our lives. She was absolutely beautiful, resembling her father with her dark hair. Grief comes in waves for us - moments of intense pain followed by moments of feeling blessed to have had time with her.

The couple, who got married in 2014, shared in November 2023 that they were expecting another child. Prior to this, they had welcomed their sons Ocean, 7, and Kingston, 4, as well as daughter Rio, 2.
