While Ahsoka season 1 has already concluded, the actors were previously unable to discuss the show due to the strike. Expressing sincere appreciation for the overwhelming support Ahsoka has garnered, the Sabine actor acknowledges that her character has been an invaluable teacher in the realms of mentorship, love, and guidance, even during times when such kindness may be undeserved. In addition, she takes a moment to honor the memory of her late co-star Ray Stevenson and the remarkable contributions of costume designer Shawna Trpcic.

Voiced by Tiya Sircar in the Star Wars Rebels animated series, Sabine's character was initially introduced as a 16-year-old graffiti artist, former Imperial Cadet, and bounty hunter. In addition to her artistic talents, Sabine is also skilled in technology and has a knack for creating explosives and weapons. These abilities alone make her a formidable character, but now that she has embraced the Force, she has the potential to become one of the most significant characters in the entire galaxy.

During Luke Skywalker's struggle to establish his own Jedi academy, Sabine has gained knowledge from a fully trained Jedi who has access to recordings and instructional aids from the prime of their former glory. Although Sabine's Force abilities have been portrayed as less impressive compared to other Force-sensitive individuals, the events in the Ahsoka show focus on the importance of training and control rather than relying solely on raw, untamed talent like Rey from the sequel trilogy.

It remains uncertain if Sabine will have an opportunity to cross paths with Luke in either Ahsoka season 2 or Filoni's upcoming movie. However, her presence would greatly benefit his growing Jedi academy. Additionally, her Mandalorian heritage holds the potential to mend a long-standing animosity and distrust between her people and the Jedi, ultimately facilitating their joint efforts in the impending battle against Grand Admiral Thrawn and his remaining Imperial forces.
