This remarkable display of Ahsoka's abilities showcases her unrivaled prowess and strength in the series, surpassing any previous live-action depiction in the Star Wars universe.
Ahsoka episode 3 hilariously and unexpectedly portrays the titular character as a Skywalker. Throughout the history of Star Wars, various characters have played significant roles in the Skywalker Saga, going beyond just Anakin and Luke. Rey Skywalker, for instance, proves that the Skywalker name is not purely inherited, and anyone who upholds the family's legacy can carry the name with pride.
Ahsoka Tano, even though not a biological Skywalker, can also be seen as honoring the family name. As Anakin Skywalker's former apprentice, she embodies the essence of the light side of the Skywalker lineage, a theme further explored in Ahsoka. In a clever and entertaining twist, Ahsoka episode 3 concludes with a moment that effectively makes her a Skywalker in all but name, adding a touch of badassery to her character.

Ahsoka Just Became A Literal Skywalker
Renamed as Ahsoka Tano, the character transforms into a true Skywalker. In an exciting nod to Ahsoka's EVA suit in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Episode 3 features a scene where Ahsoka bravely ventures onto the wing of her ship to give Sabine enough time to reboot its systems. When the relentless Shin Hati and Inquisitor Marrok disable their ship, Ahsoka boldly stands atop the wings of her T-6 shuttle, wielding her lightsabers to deflect the blaster bolts fired by their attackers.
Ahsoka's Jedi Feats Proved How Skilled She Really Is
In a clever nod to her former master, Ahsoka assumes the role of a true Skywalker. It is a rare sight in the Star Wars universe to witness characters drifting through space without a vessel, but Ahsoka flawlessly portrays this awe-inspiring moment. By traversing the skies of the Denab system, Ahsoka pays homage to her master's lineage and solidifies her place as a genuine Skywalker, a distinction that even the actual members of this legendary Star Wars family cannot claim. Not only does the clever mention of the name Skywalker serve as a meaningful connection to Ahsoka's history, but it also demonstrates her incredible abilities. While the action sequences in Ahsoka episodes 1 and 2 were skillfully executed, they did not introduce any fresh elements that haven't already been witnessed in Star Wars' previous portrayals of the character. Although the lightsaber battles and exploration of the Jedi temple made for captivating scenes, they did not effectively highlight any new capabilities or affirm Ahsoka's true strength.
In Ahsoka episode 3, the skywalk scene marked a significant shift. Not only did Ahsoka display her true power for the first time in the series, but she did so in a manner never before seen in any live-action Star Wars project. This particular scene showcased her ability to deflect blaster bolts from a pursuing ship, destroy vehicles using her lightsaber, and buy time for Sabine, all while dealing with the challenges of low gravity. It was in this episode that Ahsoka truly revealed her exceptional skills when faced with adversity.
