Princess Kate Middleton has paused her public duties due to her battle with cancer. Some royal fans are eagerly waiting to see if she will make an appearance at Trooping the Colour on June 15.
Royal expert Christopher Andersen believes that it is doubtful that Kate, who is 42 years old, will join other royal family members on the Buckingham Palace balcony on that day.
Andersen shared with We on Thursday, May 9 that he finds the upcoming event intriguing. He mentioned that it would be interesting to see if she appears on the balcony, as it shouldn't be too difficult for her. However, if she doesn't show up, it might give off a negative impression and make things seem worse than they are.
Kate and Prince William have a yearly commitment to attend Trooping the Colour, a celebration of the monarch's birthday held in June. The couple usually brings along their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - to watch the military flypast from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
The Princess of Wales has been receiving preventive chemotherapy treatment in private since she was diagnosed with cancer in January. Kate shared her diagnosis two months later and announced that she would temporarily reduce her public engagements until she received clearance from her doctors to resume work.
During Kate's break, William has been attending events on his own in various locations across England.

The Wales family is usually joined by King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Trooping the Colour. King Charles III, who is battling cancer, along with his wife, are often seen at the event. Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and their spouses have also stood on the perch for the occasion.
This year's Trooping the Colour parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 15. However, official confirmation on who will be on the balcony for the event is still pending.
Andersen told Us that he understands Kate's decision to not participate in appearances, stating that the only expectation for her during Trooping the Colour is to be on the balcony with the children and William. He mentioned that if William is there alone, it would be a sad moment.
According to Andersen, Kate's extended break has caused "wild speculation" about her condition. On the other hand, William has reassured that Kate and the children are all doing "well."
"I believe sunlight can be very beneficial. In terms of how they communicate about this, the palace should be more transparent and let people know at least a general idea of what's going on," Anderson shared with Us. He suggested that there might be a reason why specific details are not being disclosed.
Anderson also mentioned, "I don't want to cause unnecessary panic, but there are certain types of cancer that have a higher success rate in treatment than others."

Editor's P/S:
The article highlights the uncertainty surrounding Princess Kate Middleton's attendance at Trooping the Colour due to her ongoing cancer battle. While royal expert Christopher Andersen expresses skepticism about her presence, the official confirmation remains pending. Kate's absence would be a noticeable departure from the usual family tradition and could raise concerns about her health.
The article also touches upon the media's speculation and the palace's limited transparency regarding Kate's condition. Andersen advocates for more openness, suggesting that it would dispel unnecessary panic and provide a clearer understanding of her situation. However, the palace's decision to withhold specific details may be driven by Kate's privacy concerns or the desire to avoid sensationalism. Ultimately, the decision of whether to attend Trooping the Colour lies with Kate and her family, and the public awaits official confirmation with both anticipation and empathy.
