Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the children of Prince William and Princess Kate, stole the show at this year's Trooping the Colour event, despite King Charles III being the person of honor. The young royals, aged 9, 8, and 5 respectively, accompanied their parents and other members of the royal family to celebrate the 74th birthday of the king. During the formal review of the British military, Prince Charles joined his father, while the three children rode in a carriage with their mother Kate and their step-grandmother Queen Camilla. As they waved to the crowd, Prince Louis entertained everyone by making funny faces, including one where he plugged his nose.
George and Louis wore coordinating navy blazers with red ties, while their sister Charlotte looked absolutely adorable in her red-and-white dress. The three siblings stood in front of their parents on the palace balcony, eagerly pointing out the military planes as they gracefully flew across the sky.
Louis wore a royal blue military jacket to complement William's formal robes, while Charlotte wore matching white Alexander McQueen dresses and floral headpieces by Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen, resembling a mini version of Kate.
The young members of the royal family continued their involvement in public events following their coronation appearance. In a significant milestone, Louis, as a working royal, took part in his first royal engagement by joining his family of five at The Big Help Out volunteer event on May 8. Together with other volunteers, they contributed to various activities such as planting, painting, and building at the 3rd Upton Scout Group in Berkshire, England.
During The Big Help Out, Louis captured the hearts of many when a video of him enjoying s'mores went viral. After taking a bite of the delicious campfire treat, the young prince couldn't contain his delight and danced around in a circle.
During the 2022 Trouping the Colour event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's youngest child caught the attention of the public with his adorable facial expressions. As roaring jets passed over Buckingham Palace, little Louis covered his ears and let out a scream. On the balcony, he was also seen engaging in conversation with Queen Elizabeth.
In the previous year's Trooping the Colour parade, Princess Charlotte took her role as a big sister seriously. While seated in a carriage with Kate and Camilla, she prevented Louis from waving by gently placing his hand in his lap. Despite her efforts, the mischievous prince still managed to wave at his mother.
After the birth of Louis in 2018, it was revealed that Charlotte and George share a strong bond, and a similar connection is developing between Charlotte and Louis. According to a source, George is not only protective of his younger siblings but also willingly assists his mother with household chores, often hoping to earn extra time with electronics as a reward.
In December 2021, William provided rare insights into the daily life of his family, sharing that George, Charlotte, and Louis engage in typical sibling quarrels. During the season 2 finale of his Apple Watch Fitness+ audio show "Time to Walk," he disclosed, "Most mornings, Charlotte and George have a major dispute over which song should be played to start the day."
The Duke of Cornwall further explained, "To maintain fairness, I now have to prioritize that each of them gets a turn. One day, it's George's choice, and another day, it's Charlotte's turn. The competition for selecting the music is quite intense."

Prince William and Princess Kate's 3 Kids Steal the Show at King Charles III's 1st Trooping the Colour: Photos
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the children of Prince William and Princess Kate, stole the spotlight at this year's Trooping the Colour event. They accompanied their parents and other members of the royal family to celebrate King Charles III's early birthday. During the formal review of the British military, Prince Charles joined his father, while the three children rode in a carriage with their mother and Queen Camilla. As they waved to the crowd, Prince Louis entertained everyone by making funny faces, including one where he plugged his nose.
Louis and his older siblings later stood alongside their parents, Charles, Camilla, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to witness the annual Royal Air Force flyover. Notably absent from the event were Charles' second son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle.
Taking after their brother, George, both Louis and he sported matching navy blazers paired with red ties. Charlotte, on the other hand, stole the show with her adorable red-and-white dress.
