Why Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade Share a Special Connection, According to Kathy Hilton

Kathy Hilton, 64, shared her thoughts on Kyle Richards' strong friendship with Morgan Wade. "Kyle was really drawn to her music and they instantly connected after learning about what she had gone through," Hilton told Extra on December 5. She explained that Wade's recent double mastectomy resonated with Richards, 54, since their late mother, Kathleen Richards, had also battled breast cancer.

"Morgan and Kyle have been a positive influence on each other and seem to be enjoying each other's company," Hilton stated, adding, "That's all I can say." Fans have expressed concerns about the reality TV star's friendship with Wade, especially as she is currently going through a separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky.

In July, Richards and Umanksy, 53, announced their separation after 27 years of marriage. The Bravo stars released a joint statement acknowledging the challenges they have faced in their marriage and addressed speculation about Richards and Wade, 28. "There has been no wrongdoing on anyone's part. While we are in the public eye, we request privacy as we work through our issues. Please refrain from creating false stories to fuel gossip," their statement read.

Hilton revealed on Tuesday that she has been spending a significant amount of time with Wade and has developed a strong liking for her. She also disclosed that she had kept Wade's identity as a tattoo artist a secret.

Following a falling out after filming RHOBH season 12 last year, Hilton stated that she and Richards are now reconciled and referred to them as being "back together." Thanks to Wade and her tattoo artist skills, the sisters also got matching tattoos.

“I wanted to do something and bond, so we did my favorite, which is a four-leaf clover, so it’s special,” Hilton said.

While Hilton has not been seen on the current RHOBH season, which premiered in October, Wade made her Bravo debut on the show last month. They were in the process of getting tattoos - Richards got a new tattoo before inking her initial on Wade's arm.

During the scene, Richards told Wade that “people are really confused” about their friendship. Wade shrugged it off as Richards further explained the origin of their bond.
