Khloé Kardashian shared the story of how she and Kourtney Kardashian were banned from giving speeches at family events. Kourtney revealed that they were no longer allowed to give speeches after a drunken speech they gave together at Kim Kardashian's second wedding. Kourtney mentioned this incident on her Instagram Story during the launch of her wellness brand, Lemme, at Target, where she was asked to give a speech.
Khloé took to her Instagram Story to support her sister's story. She revealed that she and Kourtney were not allowed to give speeches after Kim Kardashian's short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries in 2011. (The couple split after only 72 days of being married.)
Khloé mentioned that although Kourtney used the term "gave up," the reality was that they were banned from making speeches since that wedding. Despite the awkward situation, Khloé believes that most people at the event enjoyed their speech that night. She suggested bringing back Kourtney and Khloé's speeches and asked who else agreed with her.

Khloe revealed on The Late Late Show with James Corden in 2014 that she was forbidden by Kim from giving a speech at her sister's wedding to Kanye West earlier that year.
During the show, Khloe admitted, "I talk a lot and tend to say whatever is on my mind. So, Kim decided not to let me speak at her wedding because I tend to ramble and might end up saying the wrong thing when trying to give a compliment."
The groom, Kanye, still gave a long speech at his wedding despite the note. Khloé shared, "Kanye was teasing me during his speech, saying 'Khloé, I know you want the mic.' It was like one talker to another, both wanting the spotlight." She mentioned, "His speech was amazing and seemed to go on for about 45 minutes."
Fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians may recall the season 6 finale in September 2014. The episode showed footage from Kim and Kanye's wedding, which took place after a week of celebrations in Paris, including a rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles. The couple then exchanged vows in Florence, Italy.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in August 2014, Kim mentioned that everyone had a great time at Versailles and ended up drinking too much. She shared a funny story about Khloé being so hungover that Kim had to wake her up from her sleep to get her makeup done.
After 8 years of marriage, Kim and West officially divorced in 2022.
