Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian's feud came to an abrupt halt after starting out of nowhere. In an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode of "The Kardashians" on Thursday, October 12, Kourtney, aged 44, takes the initiative to repair the rift between herself and 42-year-old Kim.
"Kourtney reached out to me, sending a picture of our dad back in college," shares the Skims founder with her glam squad during her time in Milan, Italy. "Receiving that text from her made me believe that we're taking a step in the right direction, moving past all the drama. I really want her to be here."
In a confessional, Kourtney explains her decision to reach out, saying, "We both said things we're not proud of. But anyone with siblings knows how the dynamic works. You can have a huge fight, but then a simple funny text can make everything okay."
Viewers have been witness to Kim and Kourtney's tumultuous split since season 3. The conflict arose when Kourtney expressed her dissatisfaction with Kim for organizing a collaboration with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, which appeared to draw inspiration from her upcoming nuptials to Travis Barker in May 2022.
Kourtney expressed her disappointment on a July episode of the Hulu series, stating that it was disheartening for her sister to view her wedding as a business opportunity. She felt that her sister prioritized money over their relationship, as she never genuinely sought her permission. Kourtney believed that her sister was unsure how to handle the situation if she were to decline.
Kim, on the other hand, contended that she made an effort to be patient and deliberately avoided selecting items that Kourtney had worn during her wedding weekend.
"I tied the knot in Italy. Am I insinuating that you imitated me by having your wedding in Italy? Who graced my wedding with their performance? Andrea Bocelli. Who graced Kourtney's wedding with their performance? Andrea Bocelli," Kim stated, alluding to her and Kanye West's wedding abroad in 2014. "You took my damn wedding destination and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my most beloved male singer of all time, but I'm the one copying your Dolce Vita lifestyle?"
Following the wrap of filming for season 3, it appeared that the tension between Kim and Kourtney had dissipated. However, their relationship took a negative turn after they watched each other's confessional interviews, causing a strain as season 4 began.
During the September season premiere, Kim candidly addressed the issue, stating, "Last season was really difficult, but we managed to move past it and have some fun. We talked it out and everything seemed to be fine." However, their feud resurfaced after viewing the edited episodes of their show. Kim expressed her frustration, saying, "I heard what she was saying about me, and she heard what I was saying about her, which reignited our anger. It brings up so many emotions."

In a later part of the episode, the tensions between Kim and Kourtney escalated following a dramatic phone call. Surprising viewers, Kourtney placed the blame on Kim's behavior for the rift between them.
"You're focusing on trivial matters because your ego-centric and self-centered mindset won't allow anything else," Kourtney stated. "You cannot handle anyone else stealing the spotlight. At my wedding, you were unable to be content. From the moment you arrived until the moment you left, you complained incessantly. That's what it boils down to. It's not just that you couldn't find happiness, you couldn't even be happy for me. You couldn't bear the fact that I was the center of attention and you were not."
In response, Kim firmly denied being at fault. "What is it that has made you hold such negative feelings towards me? I urge you to reflect deeply and unravel the reasons behind your intense dislike and anger. None of this is true. I genuinely celebrated your happiness," she expressed. "Why wouldn't I be happy for you? It seems like you have a strong resentment towards us. You've become a different person, and this is something we all talk about."
Following this, Kourtney broke down in tears as the exchange continued between the sisters.
"Please focus on your own life. I don't engage in gossip or side conversations about anyone," responded the creator of Poosh. "Is your intention to be helpful? By involving others in this argument, you're creating a scenario where it's you, my friends, my kids, and everyone else against me. You're simply being unpleasant and I strongly dislike you."
Kourtney continued, expressing her thoughts after reviewing the edited footage. "During the call, it seemed like Kim was using everything in her power to intentionally hurt me. It felt like she was manipulating everyone to turn against me, and both of us ended up in a regrettable place."
