Why Does Sutton Stracke Question Kyle Richards' Need for Space?
Sutton Stracke addresses Kyle Richards' request for space on 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Stracke shares her perspective on the situation, shedding light on the reasons behind Richards' need for distance
Kyle Richards has expressed the need for some distance from her fellow cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton Stracke, leaving Sutton feeling confused. "I didn't even realize she said that," shared Sutton, 52, during an exclusive interview with We at BravoCon on November 4th. "Perhaps she needs space from many individuals. I'm uncertain about what I may have done."
While Garcelle Beauvais, their fellow actor, was unaware of Kyle's need for a break from Sutton, she believes that the break has already commenced. "I think there has been some space between you two, unintentionally," she stated.
Sutton responded, "What have I done?"
During a pre-BravoCon interview on the podcast "Two Ts in a Pod" hosted by Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, Kyle expressed her need for space. She elaborated further on this topic in a conversation with Us on Saturday. Kyle explained that she required distance from Sutton because she found her to be overwhelming. At the time she made this statement, Kyle and Sutton were just starting their relationship, and there had been a series of challenging situations that had prompted Kyle to take a step back. She felt that their progress was stagnant, which led her to believe that some time apart was necessary. Additionally, Kyle had other commitments and responsibilities that she needed to focus on at that particular time.

Kyle and Sutton have been close friends for a long time during their time together on RHOBH. In fact, Sutton even rented one of Kyle's homes while renovating her own place. While it's unclear when Kyle first realized she needed to distance herself from their friendship, some of their costars fully understand and support her decision.
"I completely agree with Kyle. I understand her perspective and I agree with her," Erika Jayne commented to Us on Saturday. "I've personally felt the need for a break for a couple of years now."
Dorit Kemsley also understands and relates to her best friend Kyle's experiences.
"In this group, there are moments like that. Sutton and I are okay," Dorit, aged 47, shared at the BravoCon red carpet with Us. "We haven't had any major conflicts. But it's like being slowly worn down by small issues. Sometimes Sutton has a tendency to irritate people. However, we move past it and we're okay."
The Housewives have temporarily suspended their friendship, but Sutton is currently socializing with a variety of new individuals.
"I've been going on multiple dates," Sutton playfully shared with Us, discussing her romantic life. "I'm getting to know someone new. We've been on two dates so far, and we also exchange texts, which is a positive sign."
