The Challenge in Squid Game is back, featuring real people competing for a huge prize. Find out the exact time it will be available on Netflix.
We may feel superior about the moral message of Squid Game, but it should be recognized as a horrifying portrayal of the vicious cycle of capitalist greed and poverty.
We all had the same thought when we watched the original series in 2021: "I could do that," whether it's excelling in Red Light Green Light or demonstrating steady-handed cookie-cutting in Dalgona. Now, Netflix is offering the opportunity for contestants to showcase their skills in Squid Game: The Challenge, a high-budget reality series with the biggest cash prize in TV history.

Squid Game: The Challenge will premiere on Netflix at 3am ET on Wednesday, November 22.

Netflix will release the first five episodes all at once, allowing you to enjoy the introduction of the contestants and their intense game of Red Light Green Light. The remaining episodes will be released over the next two weeks, concluding with the finale on Wednesday, December 6th.
Before the show's premiere, The Daily Beast asked executive producer Tim Harcourt if there was anything "diehard fans" should be aware of before they watched.
"Our guiding principle for the entire show has been the phrase: 'How you play is who you are.' We hope that resonates with the audience. Our goal was to create an exhilarating show, while also using it as a means to showcase character under pressure. If we have succeeded in doing that, then we are pleased," he commented.

Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z fan, I am eagerly anticipating the release of Squid Game: The Challenge. The original series was a global phenomenon, and I am excited to see how the new reality series will compare. I think it is a great opportunity for fans of the show to experience the games for themselves and to see how they would fare in the competition.
I am also interested to see how the show will address the moral message of the original series. Squid Game was a critique of capitalism and poverty, and I am curious to see how the new series will explore these themes. I hope that the show will not shy away from the dark and disturbing aspects of the original series and that it will continue to be a thought-provoking and challenging watch.
