The new Warzone map, called Urzikstan, is set to release in early December 2023 as part of the seasonal restart. Although the exact date is yet to be confirmed, speculation suggests that the map will coincide with the release of CoD MW3's Season 01 on December 6th. This assumption is supported by the fact that Warzone's Season 06 is scheduled to end on the same day, indicating the possibility of a significant upgrade.

How Does Urzikstan Differ from Previous Maps?

The Warzone's latest map boasts a Soviet-esque aesthetic with notable enhancements for player mobility. Notably, there are horizontal ziplines, easily accessible vehicles, and more condensed city structures that facilitate quicker navigation.

Within this updated Drop Zone, players are given the ability to manipulate the train, explore an underground secret area, and engage in classic 1v1 Gulag matches without the presence of juggernauts.

Here’s a list of all other changes:

Contracts are easier to locate. A brand-new item called Laptop will help Warzone players locate these bonds.

The pace of Circle-pacing is increased due to Urzikstan's high density, enhancing the overall action in the game.

Gulag will include ascenders and Public Events. Instead of capturing flags, a zipline will be introduced in the center, allowing a single player to exit the room. Additionally, players who survive in Gulag will have the opportunity to participate in events like Cash Grab, which provide them with extra money as rewards.

Urzikstan is in the Plunder Mode, too. However, players will also be able to play in Vondel and Ashika Island in the Battle Royale and Resurgence Modes.

Editor's P/S

As a passionate fan of Call of Duty: Warzone, I am eagerly anticipating the release of the upcoming Urzikstan map. The current Verdansk map has been a staple of the game since its launch, and while it has its charms, it's starting to feel a bit stale. Urzikstan promises to bring a fresh and exciting experience to the game, with its unique Soviet-esque aesthetic and new gameplay features.

One of the things I'm most excited about is the new mobility options that Urzikstan will offer. The addition of horizontal ziplines and easily accessible vehicles will make it easier to get around the map and engage in fast-paced combat. The more condensed city structures will also make for more intense and close-quarters battles.

I'm also intrigued by the new Gulag mechanics. The addition of ascenders and Public Events will make the Gulag more dynamic and exciting, and I can't wait to see how these changes impact the overall gameplay experience.

Overall, I'm incredibly hyped for the release of the Urzikstan map. It promises to be a major shake-up to the Warzone formula, and I can't wait to explore it and discover all of its secrets.
