The integration of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 with Warzone and the introduction of the Urzikstan Map will be available on December 6. A new trailer for Call of Duty showcases the action players can anticipate on the upcoming map. The full trailer can be viewed below.
Urzikstan will replace Al Mazrah as Warzone's new standard map for Season 1, and the trailer offers a detailed look at some of the new points of interest, including various urban city locations. The map will include 11 named points of interest and a brand-new Gulag.
Owners of Modern Warfare 3 may already be familiar with the new Urzikstan map in Zombies mode. However, the battle royale version of the map introduces a new drivable train, exclusive to this mode.
The trailer highlights other vehicle options in the battle royale, including helicopters and boats, along with underwater combat. The Season 1 update for Warzone improves visibility for water combat and provides players with a backup pistol for use while swimming, climbing ladders, and hanging from ledges, ensuring they are not defenseless in vulnerable situations.
In Season 1 of Warzone, players can get into the holiday spirit with the Santa's Slayground event. This limited-time mode allows players to loot holiday trees, encounter "Zombie Santa", and participate in undead deer hunting.
As for Modern Warfare 3, the Season 1 update brings brand-new core multiplayer maps, the return of Gunfight, and new LTMs. The Zombies mode also features a new story act, additional schematics to unlock, and a new Wonder Weapon.

The promise of improved visibility for water combat and the addition of a backup pistol for swimming, climbing, and hanging from ledges address some of the frustrations players have faced in previous seasons.
