The long-awaited confirmation of a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake finally arrived during the May 24 PlayStation Showcase, with Konami announcing that the game was being co-developed by Virtuos Games. Fans were excited to hear that Metal Gear Solid Delta, the new title for the remake, would be faithful to the original despite the absence of Hideo Kojima. However, some remained cautious given Konami's handling of the franchise without Kojima. Nevertheless, Virtuos Games' impressive track record in assisting with development and porting popular titles provides reassurance that Metal Gear Solid Delta is in capable hands.
