Genshin Impact, the popular fantasy open-world RPG game with gacha elements developed by HoYoverse, is set to host an exciting offline event in July 2023. This event aims to bring the game and a beloved fan-favorite region to life, creating an immersive experience for players. HoYoverse, the developers behind Genshin Impact and the successful Honkai: Star Rail, has been leading the way in the gacha game genre, surpassing even PlayStation in profits in 2022. While they continue to create content for Genshin Impact and develop new games like Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse is also venturing into new territories beyond the in-game world.
At Anime Expo 2023, HoYoverse is set to host Paimon's Food Fest, an offline event for Genshin Impact. Taking place from July 1 to July 4, the event will feature two exciting activities: the Liyue Cook-Off Challenge and the Liyue Harbor Check-In. Players will have the opportunity to join a cook-off with the renowned chef Xiangling within the game, bringing the world of Genshin Impact to life.
The Genshin Impact booth at the event will be designed to resemble the vibrant region of Liyue, which draws heavy inspiration from Chinese culture. Attendees can look forward to seeing beloved characters like Xiangling and Hyeyoung at the booth, located in Entertainment Hall E-08 of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
In addition to the immersive experience, attendees will have the chance to win exclusive prizes and purchase merchandise. A variety of Genshin Impact character stickers in adorable chibi form and Paimon balloons will be available for purchase. Furthermore, Genshin Impact will be collaborating with Pixiv, an online community for artists with a focus on Japanese culture. The convention will showcase both official Genshin Impact concept art and fan art at the gallery, located in Exhibit Hall No. 4506.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play game that can be enjoyed on Android, iOS, PC, PS4, and PS5.
