Shivada Jade is an elemental stone in Genshin Impact that is utilized for ascending Cryo characters. Cryo Vision holders will require Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, or Gemstones of this stone according to their level.
Similar to the other elemental gems, Shivada Jade can be obtained through multiple means. While boss rewards constitute the main source, there are also alternative sources available. Let's explore all the methods of obtaining Shivada Jade in Genshin Impact, as well as identifying its user requirements.

Genshin Impact Bosses That Drop Shivada Jade
Defeating bosses is the most effective method for farming Shivada Jade. Upon defeating a boss, spend 40 Original Resin to collect the rewards, which may include the desired elemental stones. Fortunately, there are several bosses that can drop Shivada Jade as a reward.
Cryo Regisvine
Cryo Hypostasis
Coral Defenders
Maguu Kenki
Perpetual Mechanical Array
Primo Geovishap*
Aeonblight Drake
Iniquitous Baptist

In general, the drops from bosses tend to improve with higher levels. Refer to the following chart for the corresponding boss level at which you can obtain each type of gem:
World Level | Boss Level | Gems |
---|---|---|
0+ | 36+ | Slivers |
2+ | 41+ | Fragments |
4+ | 62+ | Chunks |
6+ | 83+ | Gemstones |
Please be aware that the Primo Geovishap will exclusively yield elemental stones corresponding to the infusion it possessed during the battle. Only if the Primo Geovishap was infused with Cryo during the encounter, players will be rewarded with Shivada Jade.
However, this boss is always capable of dropping Prithiva Topaz.
Genshin Impact Weekly Bosses That Drop Shivada Jade
The domains for weekly trounce and Andrius also have the ability to reward players with elemental gemstones upon defeating the boss and paying the Resin cost. Shivada Jade can be obtained as a reward from the following weekly bosses:
Andrius (The Wolf of the North Challenge)Boss level 39+: Slivers | level 42+: Fragments | level 63+: Chunks | level 84+ Gemstones
Childe (Enter the Golden House)
Azhdaha (Beneath the Dragon Queller)*
La Signora (Narukami Island: Tenshukaku)
At higher levels, these bosses can drop better quality gemstones. They typically follow this pattern, though Andrius is slightly different and is listed above:
Gems | Domain levels |
---|---|
Slivers | I, II, III, IV |
Fragments | I, II, III, IV |
Chunks | II, III, IV |
Gemstones | III, IV |
The elemental stones dropped by Azhdaha are determined by the element he infuses during battle, similar to the Primo Geovishap. If Azhdaha infuses Cryo during the fight, players have a chance to obtain Shivada Jade as a reward. However, Azhdaha can drop Prithiva Topaz regardless of the infused elements of the week. Fortunately, players can determine the infused elements of the week by checking the door to Azhdaha's domain before entering the battle.
Other Ways to Get Shivada Jade in Genshin Impact
Aside from fighting bosses and trounce challenges, there are a handful of other ways to obtain elemental gems, including Shivada Jade.
Daily Commissions
Completing daily commissions for the Adventurers' Guild is a convenient and effective method to obtain elemental gemstones. Each day, players are tasked with four commissions, and upon successfully finishing them all, they can visit any branch of the Adventurers' Guild. Speaking to Katheryne, players will receive bonus rewards, potentially including valuable elemental gemstone Slivers.
Unfortunately, it's random which one is given out, but since daily commissions are a great way to earn Primogems, the gems are a bonus.
Crafting
By using a crafting bench, players can craft higher-level gems from lower-level gems.
Here's how this works:
Ingredients | Mora | Product | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
3x Sliver | + | 300 | = | 1x Fragment |
3x Fragment | + | 900 | = | 1x Chunk |
3x Chunk | + | 2,700 | = | 1x Gemstone |
Crafting a Gemstone requires a hefty investment of 27 Slivers. Despite the expense, this method is commendable due to its reliability, prompting players to opt for crafting higher-level gems instead of searching for them elsewhere.
Conversion
Additionally, players can utilize a crafting bench to transform various elemental gems into their desired type by employing Dust of Azoth. Dust of Azoth can be obtained from Paimon's Bargains by exchanging 5 Stardust for 10 counts of Dust of Azoth.
Higher-level gems need more Dust of Azoth to be converted, as shown here:
Gem level | Dust of Azoth required |
---|---|
Sliver | 1 |
Fragment | 3 |
Chunk | 9 |
Gemstone | 27 |
Shivada Jade, then, can be converted from Varunada Lazurite, Nagadus Emerald, Vayuda Turquoise, Vajrada Amethyst, Prithiva Topaz, or Agnidus Agate.
Parametric Transformer
The Parametric Transformer offers a wide range of creations, one of which being gems. By utilizing appropriate materials, players can enhance their chances of obtaining a "set" consisting of two Slivers or a single Fragment of a random elemental gem. It is even possible to acquire multiple "sets" of the same item, meaning the player may acquire multiple gems.
It is important to note that the type of fuel used in the Parametric Transformer only increases the likelihood of obtaining specific items, rather than guaranteeing them. The following items are more inclined to yield sets of elemental gems when placed in the Parametric Transformer:
Iron Chunk | Cor Lapis | Firm Arrowhead | Hunter's Sacrificial Knife |
White Iron Chunk | Noctilucous Jade | Sharp Arrowhead | Agent's Sacrificial Knife |
Crystal Chunk | Starsilver | Weathered Arrowhead | Inspector's Sacrificial Knife |
Magical Crystal Chunk | Crystal Marrow | Sango Pearl | Loach Pearl |
Amethyst Lump | Crystal Core | Electro Crystal |
Souvenir Shops - Slivers Only!
In Teyvat, two souvenir shops offer elemental gems for sale. However, there are certain restrictions when it comes to acquiring these gems. Firstly, they exclusively sell Slivers. Secondly, they solely accept elemental sigils as payment, excluding Mora. Lastly, their stock of Slivers is limited and they do not restock once sold out.
In Mondstadt, there is a shop called With Wind Comes Glory, managed by Marjorie, where the first vendor sells Shivada Jade Slivers. Payment is only accepted in Anemo Sigils, and each Sliver costs 10 Anemo Sigils. Xingxi, on the other hand, runs Mingxing Jewelry in Liyue Harbor and is the second vendor who sells Shivada Jade Slivers. This shop exclusively accepts Geo Sigils as payment and charges 10 Geo Sigils for each Sliver. The stock at Xingxi's shop includes a total of 12 Shivada Jade Slivers.
Events
Finally, elemental gems can often be found as rewards during special time-limited events.
Events typically offer either immediate rewards for completing specific challenges or a designated event shop where players can purchase rewards using a currency exclusive to the event. These rewards often include ascension items and talent materials such as elemental gems or talent books.
