In version 1.4, players can look forward to the expansion of the playable unit lineup with Jingliu, the first Ice unit on the Destruction Path. This addition offers players a fresh choice for upgrading their team composition. Destruction followers are recognized for their high DPS potential and aggressive combat style, while also possessing remarkable endurance that makes them formidable in prolonged battles.

Anticipation is mounting among Honkai: Star Rail players for the release of Jingliu, a new Ice character who will make her debut alongside Topaz in version 1.4. Just a few days ago, HoYoverse provided a glimpse into Jingliu's ability kit by showcasing her talent, idle, and ultimate animations. The character's overall design has received widespread praise from players on Reddit, with some likening her to a combination of Honkai Impact 3rd's Fu Hua and Senti. Based on the typical banner cycle, Jingliu is expected to be obtainable from October 11 to November 1, after which she will be succeeded by new characters like Topaz, Luka, Sushang, and Guinaifen.

Jingliu, a five-star Ice unit in Honkai: Star Rail, has been unveiled with all her details. She follows the Destruction Path and possesses a unique set of traces that grant various bonuses while in the Transmigration state. Jingliu's technique, the Shine of Truth, creates a dimension that inflicts Freeze on multiple enemies. Engaging enemies in this dimension enables her to instantly recover energy and earn stacks. Furthermore, her enhanced skill unleashes Ice damage on a single enemy, consuming stacks instead of skill points.

Jingliu's talent in Honkai: Star Rail is truly exceptional. By utilizing stacks, she can enter the Spectral Transmigration state. In this state, her CRIT rate is heightened, and her Transcended Flash skill transforms into Moon on Glacial River. Moreover, the total HP consumed from all allies determines the extent to which Jingliu's ATK increases. With her ultimate, she propels herself into the air, inflicts Ice damage on enemies, and accrues a number of stacks.

Collecting Immortal Scionette and Gelid Chitin will allow players to enhance Jingliu's combat skills and facilitate her ascension. These materials can be acquired by defeating characters during Assignments or by completing the Shape of Icicle: Stagnant Shadow. Jingliu's traces, on the other hand, enhance her effect resistance and ultimate damage while in the Spectral Transmigration state.
