Content: Fans of the Final Fantasy series have certain expectations, including the presence of iconic elements like Moogles, Cactuar enemies, and Chocobos. These cheerful creatures with their colorful feathers have always brought joy to the game. Fortunately, in Final Fantasy 16, protagonist Clive has the opportunity to ride a Chocobo as his mount.
However, not all Chocobos are as friendly and loyal as the beloved Ambrosia with her white wings. In fact, many wild Chocobos in Valisthea can become aggressive and pose a threat to people. Among them, the most dangerous is the Dread Comet, who fiercely patrols the Dhalmekian desert in Final Fantasy 16. It is time to confront and defeat this formidable beast.

How to Beat Dread Comet in Final Fantasy 16
Upon completion of the Evenfall main quest in the acclaimed game Final Fantasy 16, players are presented with a tempting opportunity to embark on a daring mission - the apprehension of the dreaded Comet Mark. This intrepid venture will take them through the treacherous expanse of the Dhalmekian desert, nestled between the vast expanses of The Sickle and The Fields of Carava. With keen eyes, one shall easily discern the conspicuous brightness of the creature's crimson plumage amidst the swirling sands.
The Dread Comet hunt does not include a Will meter, making it immune to being Staggered for increased damage. However, it is more susceptible to interrupting attacks. Be cautious of its powerful and rapid foot strikes. To avoid becoming overwhelmed, either dodge to the back or sidestep to create a chance for a counterattack.
Continue applying constant pressure and utilizing powerful Eikonic Abilities to trap Dread Comet in a relentless loop, ensuring Clive remains unharmed.
As Dread Comet's health diminishes significantly, it will unleash Choco Meteor, a move that summons meteors targeting specific areas on the ground, subsequently generating perilous shockwaves. To avoid potential harm, players should remain vigilant and be prepared to evade by jumping whenever the shockwaves occur.
Beware of the augmented Choco Meteorain, a far more perilous attack that summons a greater number of celestial entities to rain down upon the battleground. Stay vigilant, constantly evading and leaping to mitigate any enduring harm.
Failing to stagger Dread Comet results in no opportunity for rest, so make sure to heal yourself, especially when being hit by shockwaves. Maintain an aggressive approach, and ultimately, Clive will emerge victorious.
For successfully completing this hunt, players will be rewarded with 5300 XP, 90 Ability Points, 13000 Gil, and 30 Renown. Additionally, they will receive a Comet Feather to be utilized at the Blacksmith.
