In Fortnite's ongoing collaborations with various brands and franchises, they have recently partnered with the popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. As part of the Break the Curse Event, players have the opportunity to complete a mini-Battle Pass and earn a variety of rewards. Among these rewards is the coveted Jujutsu Kaisen Nue glider, which holds a reputation for being one of the more challenging items to obtain. For players seeking to unlock this exclusive glider, this guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to do so.
How to Get the Nue Glider
During the ongoing Jujutsu Kaisen event, the Nue glider can exclusively be obtained in the event tab. However, Epic Games has stated that this cosmetic item is not limited to the event and may be made available for purchase in the Item Shop at a later time.
In contrast to other rewards in the Break the Curse event, players won't unlock the Nue glider by gathering Cursed Energy and advancing through the pass. Instead, they will only receive the glider in Fortnite once they have obtained all five Sorcerer Grades.
Since players don't need to unlock the Nue glider with Cursed Energy, they don't have to acquire the premium version of the Break the Curse pass to get it.
How to Collect Sorcerer Grades
There are a total of five sets of Break the Curse quests, each corresponding to a different grade level. The Jujutsu Kaisen event was launched on August 8, and initially, not all grade levels were accessible. They were gradually made available over time. On August 17, the final set of grade levels was released, which allowed players to unlock the Nue glider.
Players can now progress through different grades, including Grade 4, Grade 3, Grade 2, Grade 1, and Special Grade. To unlock the next grade, players must complete a minimum of eight quests. Upon completing five quests of a specific grade, players will receive a Sorcerer Grade token as a Bonus Goal. Collecting all five Sorcerer Grade tokens will allow players to claim the Nue glider.
The Break the Curse event will be available until the end of Chapter 4 Season 3. Players have until August 25, 2 AM ET, to complete as many Jujutsu Kaisen quests as possible, as they will no longer be accessible after that. Although the Nue glider will eventually return to the game as a purchasable item in the Item Shop, it will no longer be available for free.
Fortnite is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
