How to Obtain and Upgrade the Tunic of Memories in Tears of the KingdomPlayers of Tears of the Kingdom who aspire to imitate Link's iconic look from Breath of the Wild can achieve it by obtaining the Tunic of Memories. This tunic is similar to the one worn by Link in his Champion's Leather armor, but with a few modifications. Those who have played Breath of the Wild before will notice that the base defense for the Tunic of Memories is slightly lower this time around. However, it can be upgraded.
Players can obtain the coveted Tunic of Memories in Tears of the Kingdom by fulfilling certain requirements. These prerequisites include locating the Bargainer Statues and accomplishing a specific Side Adventure. Although acquiring the Tunic of Memories does not require any monetary expense, players must ensure that they gather all the Poes in The Depths for maximum benefits.
How to Unlock Tunic of Memories
Obtaining the Tunic of Memories requires players to embark on the side quest "A Call From The Depths." However, before that, they must complete the "Trapped Under the Water Behind the Stone Gate" side quest. Once they have finished that, their mission is to locate all Bargainer Statues hidden throughout The Depths. After speaking to each of them, players can purchase the Tunic of Memories from any Bargainer Statue for 400 Poes.
Trapped Under the Water Behind the Stone Gate
To start the "Trapped Under the Water Behind the Stone Gate" side quest, players must first speak to the Goddess Statue located in the Temple of Time Ruins at coordinates (-0822, -2027, 0119) on the Great Plateau. Once accepted, players must make their way to coordinates -0561, -1506, 0018, which is on the other side of the wall near the Great Plateau North Chasm. To access this area, players can break the blockage with a boulder, rock, or Bomb Flower, or by using Yunobo's Vow. After reaching the destination, players must interact with the statue to proceed.
A Call From the Depths
After freeing the statue from underwater, the next step is to return to the Goddess Statue located in the Temple of Time Ruins. Speak to it to unlock the quest "A Call From the Depths." In order to complete this quest, Link must visit all four Chasms on the Great Plateau and search for the Poe Eye statues. Once found, he must throw them into the Chasms. When all the Eyes have been collected, Link should head to the Great Abandoned Central Mine (- 0775, -1899, -0564) and insert them into the statue's face. To make the journey less tedious, there are Zonai devices available for use.
Find All Bargainer Statues
To uncover the whereabouts of the Bargainer Statues in The Depths, players can seek out the Poe Statue located at Lookout Landing (0317, -1097, 0009) and pay 100 Poes per location reveal. Poes are the small blue orbs that can be collected throughout The Depths. By accumulating enough of them, players can trade them in at any of the seven Bargainer Statues for unique armor and weapons, such as the coveted Tunic of Memories.
