Players of Genshin Impact have discovered an intriguing in-game voice line that may provide a clue about the whereabouts of Natlan, a significant region that has yet to be unlocked. The world of Teyvat comprises of seven primary nations, each drawing inspiration from real-life locations and their respective cultures.
The developer HoYoverse has followed an interesting pattern of introducing one major region each year, with Sumeru being the most recent addition. Currently, players are able to explore four distinct regions: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru. However, this will soon change, as the recent Special Program live stream unveiled that the release of Fontaine is imminent.
A Reddit user named Training_Cook_7284 has shared an intriguing screenshot from the World Quest called "Recollections of a Fontainian" in Genshin Impact. The dialogue in the quest involves a character named Augustus Lovelace who reveals an interesting detail about the upcoming major region called Natlan. Augustus mentions that to reach Natlan, players would have to cross a desert, leading to speculation that this region shares a border with the deserts of Sumeru. This statement adds credibility to previous leaks suggesting that Natlan is situated southwest of the Dendro nation.
While not much official information is available about Natlan, it is known to be the homeland of the Pyro Archon known as Murata. Recent leaks surrounding Genshin Impact suggest that Natlan's storyline will reintroduce a beloved character who is currently deceased. Many players speculate that this character could be Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, also known as La Signora. La Signora, as the first Fatui Harbinger, played a pivotal role in the Prologue Chapter by stealing Venti's gnosis.

Additionally, her control over the Pyro element through her Crimson Witch of Embers form further solidifies her suitability for Natlan. Fans of Genshin Impact anticipate that Natlan's quest lines will predominantly center around combat, aligning perfectly with Murata's reputation as the God of War.
Regrettably, players will have to exercise patience as it will be at least 5 to 6 months before they receive more information about the Pyro nation. The upcoming updates will primarily focus on the introduction of the new Hydro nation, Fontaine. Although an exact release date for Fontaine has not been officially announced by HoYoverse, players can anticipate its arrival around mid-August, adding a significant new region to explore.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
