Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt discovered their happily ever after after their time on Bachelor in Paradise season 5. Despite a brief split before the season's conclusion, they quickly reconciled once they departed from the beach.
Loch reflected on their journey, stating that the craziest scenario they found themselves in was meeting each other and then going through a breakup. However, she believes that the breakup was actually the best thing that happened to them. It allowed them to end the TV show chapter in Mexico and focus on themselves, figuring out what they truly wanted to do. Wendt added that they simply enjoy each other's company and feel like they are on their own little island away from the Bachelor world. Living in Canada provides them with the privacy they desire, although they spend most of their time indoors.
The couple, who got engaged in August 2019, tied the knot in October 2022.

Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt, found their happily ever after following Bachelor in Paradise season 5.
The couple briefly broke up before the season ended, but they reconciled shortly after leaving the beach.
"It was the most unexpected situation to meet someone that way, and the breakup ended up being a blessing in disguise. It allowed us to close that chapter on the TV show in Mexico and focus on our relationship privately. We took the time to figure out what we truly wanted," Loch shared with E! News in August 2019, as she looked back on their journey.
Wendt mentioned at the time that the pair simply relish each other's company. He elaborated, stating, "We feel as though we are secluded from the Bachelor realm in our little Canadian haven, and surprisingly, it's rather pleasant. We often find ourselves undisturbed, although, truthfully, we spend the majority of our time indoors."
The engaged couple from August 2019 exchanged vows in October 2022.

In December 2018, Loch announced that she would be relocating to Canada for Wendt. On Instagram, she shared that she had taken a leap of faith and left her job, and now, after 6 months, she and her belongings were being shipped to Canada in a PODS storage box. After undergoing IVF, the couple joyfully announced their impending parenthood, with the expectant mother describing the pregnancy as a "dream come true."
"One of our earliest conversations revolved around our mutual love for children and our eagerness to start a family. The mere thought of Kevin holding our precious angel for the first time fills my heart with joy. Even in my wildest imaginings, I could not have envisioned the overwhelming happiness that accompanies this journey," Loch expressed.
