When The Hills premiered in May 2006, its initial appearance differed significantly from the revival, The Hills: New Beginnings. Irrespective of the version being viewed, fans remain captivated by the cast's untold stories.
As a spinoff of Laguna Beach, the reality show on MTV chronicled Lauren Conrad's journey from Laguna to Los Angeles, where she resided with Heidi Montag. Audrina Patridge, who was a resident of the same building and eventually became Conrad's roommate, was also their first mutual friend.
During Conrad's time at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, she swiftly secured an internship at Teen Vogue where she crossed paths with her fellow intern, Whitney Port. In the meantime, Montag left school early in the season after securing a job at Bolthouse Productions.
Throughout the series, viewers witnessed the rekindling of Conrad's past relationship with Jason Wahler, as well as Montag's blossoming romance with Spencer Pratt from its inception.

'The Hills' Original Cast: Where Are They Now?
The Hills: New Beginnings may have a different look compared to when The Hills initially premiered in May 2006. However, whether viewers are following the original series or its revival, they remain captivated by the cast's untold stories.
The MTV reality show, a spinoff of Laguna Beach, documented Lauren Conrad's relocation from Laguna to Los Angeles, where she became roommates with Heidi Montag. Audrina Patridge, who also resided in the same building, was their initial friend and later shared a living space with Conrad.
During her tenure at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Conrad swiftly secured an internship position at Teen Vogue and crossed paths with Whitney Port, another intern. Concurrently, Montag ceased attending school early in the season after procuring a position at Bolthouse Productions.
Audiences followed Conrad's ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler as he reentered her life, and witnessed Montag's relationship with Spencer Pratt right from the start. But what is everyone up to now? While some of the original cast members, including Patridge, Montag, and Port, transitioned to The Hills: New Beginnings, Conrad chose not to join... and she's not alone in that decision.
