Justin Timberlake leaves fans puzzled as he unexpectedly deletes every post on his Instagram account, sparking curiosity and speculation about his motives

Something might be brewing with Justin Timberlake.
On Monday, January 8, the 42-year-old singer's Instagram was unexpectedly cleared of all photos and videos. Even his profile picture is no longer there. Despite this, he still follows 1,225 users and has a whopping 72 million followers. Timberlake's recent social media cleanse has left fans wondering what could have prompted this sudden change, especially since he was active on the app as recently as the end of the year.
Timberlake was last seen online when his wife, Jessica Biel, shared a photo of them dressed up for the opening of the new Fontainebleau hotel in Las Vegas in December 2023. Biel captioned the series of Instagram photos with "On our suit and tie s–t ️," making a nod to Timberlake's 2013 song "Suit & Tie."
The performance followed a period of low-profile for Timberlake after the release of ex Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, in October 2023. In her book, Spears, 42, delved into her past relationship with Timberlake, whom she dated from 1999 to 2002, alleging that they both cheated on each other throughout their romance. Following their breakup, Timberlake seemed to reference infidelity by Spears in "Cry Me a River."

"At that time, I felt that it was impossible for me to share my perspective," Spears expressed in her memoir about her ex's song. "I couldn't defend myself because I knew that nobody would support me once Justin had convinced everyone of his side. I don't believe Justin understood the impact of the shame he placed on me. I don't think he comprehends it even now."
In her memoir, Spears stated that Timberlake ended their relationship through a text message. She described feeling like a "fallen woman who had broken the heart of America's sweetheart," and admitted feeling "devastated" after the breakup. Additionally, Spears disclosed that she underwent an abortion upon learning that she was pregnant with Timberlake's child.
Justin's reaction to the pregnancy was not positive. He expressed concerns about their readiness and their youth. Ultimately, Spears agreed to terminate the pregnancy, although she admits to doubting whether it was the right decision. After the release of The Woman in Me, a source revealed that Timberlake was disappointed with Spears' decision to include this in her book.

In October 2023, an insider revealed that Justin believed Britney would discuss their relationship in a vague manner, rather than revealing intimate details. Another source mentioned that Timberlake feels remorseful for the pain he caused Britney in the past.
Following his relationship with Spears, Timberlake began a new chapter with Biel, 41. They got married in 2012 and now have two sons, Silas and Phineas, born in April 2015 and July 2020.
