Andy Cohen reveals that the forthcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will be noticeably different due to the open animosity between Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice, with their fellow cast members largely in agreement. Dolores Catania confirms this, acknowledging that while she personally dislikes using the word "hate," there seems to be no chance of reconciliation between the two, which she finds deeply disheartening.
Dolores, who is 52 years old, expressed that the relationship between Melissa, aged 44, and Teresa, aged 51, has been extremely difficult for her. She has known both of them for many years.
"I typically don't allow anything to impact my daily life," Dolores clarified. "Even if something happens outside of the show, I brush it off and move forward. However, this particular season really took a toll on me... How is it possible for them to hate each other any more than they already do?"

Dolores stated that her friends are aware that she will not take sides in their disputes. She expressed her willingness to support all of them and their loved ones. Dolores does not condone the fighting but stands by her friends.
Regarding season 14 filming, Rachel Fuda believes that Melissa and Teresa did not discuss each other extensively. Rachel interprets their silence as significant, suggesting that they have found a way to peacefully coexist.
Jennifer Aydin, who has previously experienced drama with the Gorgas, believes that the feud between Melissa and Teresa is not completely resolved. However, she suggested that their ongoing conflict will be less of a focal point in the upcoming episodes. When asked about the possibility of open animosity between her and Teresa, Melissa chose to be evasive. She suggested that Andy had intended to imply that this season would be more genuine. Melissa expressed her relief at the lighter tone of this season, where she didn't feel the need to defend herself from attacks or endure character assassinations. The focus has shifted away from the ongoing family saga, and both Melissa and Teresa are ready to move on. Melissa emphasized the importance of authenticity and preserving her own peace of mind.
Melissa explained that she and Teresa are currently taking a brief pause, while her sister-in-law had a less cautious attitude.
"That particular chapter is now behind us," Teresa stated to Us on Friday. "I prefer not to provide any further commentary on it. It has been a considerable amount of time. I have moved on completely."
