Manchester, U.K.

A significant portion of the filming for Fool Me Once took place in and around Greater Manchester in the U.K.
The first scene of Episode 1 was filmed at Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport, while the Walker family home, formerly owned by Maya's late sister Claire, is situated in the nearby village of Bramhall. Additionally, the Castlefield Viaduct in Manchester was used for filming, and the local pub in the narrative is actually the Peveril of the Peak in the city.
Cheshire, U.K.

Fool Me Once primarily takes place at Farmwood, the residence of Judith Burkett and her son Joe Stern. Farmwood is actually Arley Hall in Cheshire, a historical building owned by Viscount Ashbrook. Many of the show's funeral scenes were filmed at Arley Hall and Philips Park Cemetery in Miles Platting.
In an interview with the Manchester Evening News, show producer Jessica Taylor revealed that Joanna's character is primarily seen in her house, so when they went to do the initial location scout, they asked if she would be interested in staying there on the grounds, to which she enthusiastically agreed. In addition to using the hall, one of the cottages on the Farmwood grounds was also utilized, as it is home to both the family nanny and the head groundsman. The production also made use of the surrounding woodland at Arley Hall.
Maya’s house was also located in Cheshire, which is actually a residential property in Alderley Edge.
Oldham, U.K.

Fool Me Once frequently shows flashbacks of Maya finding Joe dead, with the scene filmed in Alexandra Park in Oldham.
Taylor informed MEN, "One location we frequently utilized was Alexandra Park in Oldham, a truly stunning and overlooked park. This is where we filmed the flashback scenes for Richard's murder, despite the fact that it rained all night!
"In the novel, it's meant to be Winhurst Park, so we aimed to base it on a location similar to Central Park in New York. It boasts exquisite Victorian follies and a bridge, and we wanted to capture its most picturesque features."
Stockport, U.K.
Stockport air raid tunnels doubled up as Corey’s den, with the exterior of the den being created on the grounds of Arley Hall.
The shelters are a system of almost 1 mile of underground tunnels dug under Stockport during World War II to protect local inhabitants during air raids.
Delamere Forest, U.K.
Maya is not only an amateur detective, but she also spends much of her time in the skies as a private helicopter instructor. The scenes of her in flight were filmed at Barton Aerodrome in Eccles, as well as her journey across Delamere Forest.
Spain
Maya has a backstory of being a military woman before her job as a helicopter instructor.
These scenes were all shot in Spain as the crew wanted somewhere that typically had a hotter climate.
